What I like most about the MSc in Data Science and Machine Learning is that it is structured in a combination of theory and practice. For example, in the course Introduction to Industrial Big Data, professors will teach various topics of data analysis, including data cleaning, data visualization, and other knowledge. In industrial consulting and application projects, I can go to the company to do data analysis courses or join a research group to work on a research project.

There are still certain requirements for applying for a master's degree in Singapore, which generally depends on your undergraduate school, major, average score and IELTS score, as well as soft internship.

I am a freshman in the Class of 2020 who came to the National University of Singapore in August this year to study the MSc in Food Science and Human Nutrition. If you are at least 19 years of age at the time of application and wish to enrol in a language, business, vocational, or fine arts non-graduate postgraduate degree program (including tuition fees at the University of London (UOL)), an interview may be required for the embassy requirements.

The PEO in Singapore will notify the interview schedule via email within one month of submitting the application. Therefore, applicants should contact the PEO for interview dates. About 2 months after the interview, the PEO will be informed of the result of the application.

For cases that require an interview, the processing time is generally 2 to 4 months. Inquiries about the results of the interview will not be entertained.

As we all know, there are two main types of universities in Singapore, namely: public universities and private universities; The application requirements are also different, and public universities are more demanding than private universities.

1. Public universities.

A master's degree in Singapore's public institutions has always been a dream for many international students, and both the quality of teaching and Singapore's unique employment advantages have become the reasons for attracting a large number of international students.

2. Private universities.

Generally speaking, Singapore's private universities are mostly language and diploma transition platforms, and most of them have established partnerships with overseas universities, and most of the master's degrees in Singapore's private schools are awarded by well-known universities in third-party countries. When choosing these schools, you should pay attention to the status and credibility of the partner university, and avoid false and asymmetric information. Application requirements: The application requirements for postgraduate students in private universities in Singapore require an average university score of 70 or above;

Hold a bachelor's degree certificate and degree certificate from a relevant university;

Language score requires IELTS score or above;

The conditions for private universities to become masters are domestic three-year college graduates, IELTS or above or language assessment plus language preparation, and corresponding assessment is required, and some majors need to provide 2-3 years of relevant work experience.

1. Qualifications for applying for study abroad at private universities in Singapore:

As long as international students have a high school degree or above, they can apply without providing language scores, and the total guarantee for studying abroad is about 160,000 yuan.

2. Conditions for studying in Singapore and applying for public universities:

First of all, international students need to be over 17 years old, and must pass the A-level test in Singapore, and only need to prepare about 160,000 RMB for study abroad when applying, and do not need to provide language scores.

University study requirements: Applicants need to be between the ages of 18 and 25, have received 12 years of formal education, and have an excellent Gaokao score, IELTS score or TOEFL score of 550.

There is no language score requirement for studying in Singapore high school, and applicants for high school study in Singapore must have a financial guarantee of more than 150,000 yuan and can find a Singapore guardian.
