2006 World Cup
The 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany was the 18th FIFA World Cup. The final took place from 9 June to 9 July 2006 in 12 courses in Germany. This is the second time the World Cup has been held in Germany since 1974 and the second time the World Cup has been held in Europe since 1998.
At 2 o'clock on July 10, 2006, Beijing time, the World Cup final was held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
In the end, Italy defeated France 5-3 on penalties to win the championship. In the World Cup final, France's Zinedine Zidane was sent off with a red card for headbutting Italy's Marco Materazzi in extra time. This move has also become a focus of this World Cup.

Argentina won their first game against Ivory Coast, then beat Serbia and Montenegro 6-0 (Messi did quite well) and were held to a 0-0 draw by the Netherlands in the final group game, which finally allowed Argentina to break through the Group of Death.
Entering the second round, Argentina's first opponent was Mexico, the toughest opponent Argentina has faced since the start, and the two teams drew 1-1 in the 90-minute game, going into extra time, and Rodriguez's magical goal in the last minute helped Argentina to victory.
Entering the 1 4 Drawers, Argentina welcomed the host German team, and after extra time, still drew 1-1 and the game went to a penalty shootout, but this time the magical performance came from the German goalkeeper Lehmann, whose save sent the German team to the semi-finals.
Personally, I am bullish on Brazil
Brazil is the only one to have participated in every of the 19 World Cups held so far, winning five times, followed by Italy four times and Germany three. Argentina and Uruguay are twice. France, England once. >>>More
Argentina has the best chance of winning. I like it the most! >>>More
