b. According to the attendance, the cumulative absences from class due to sick leave in a semester exceed 1 3 or more in the total number of hours of the semester.

c. Due to a special illness, the school deems it necessary to suspend the student.

d. Within the allowable period of study, students will generally suspend their studies for a period of one year, which may be extended appropriately with the approval of the university under special circumstances, but the cumulative period shall not exceed two years.

Precautions for institutions of higher learning to handle suspension.

In principle, the suspension shall be applied within the first week after the beginning of each semester, and the suspension shall be for one year.

1. If a student really needs to suspend study due to illness or other reasons, he or she must submit a written application in person and attach relevant certificates.
