The so-called "glaze" refers to the "Nirvana Realm" of perfection and immaculateness, and all virtues are perfect.

In "Journey to the West", Rulai is only the third-in-command of the Buddha world, and in front of him, there are also "Ancient Buddhas on the Lamp" and "Medicine Master Liuliguang King Buddha". This "glass cup", back then, was mostly a treasure given to the Jade Emperor by the Medicine Buddha.

As a result, at the Pan Tao Meeting, the old medicine master of the West Heaven Buddha Rulai was also present, but Sha Seng broke the "glass cup" in front of him. Therefore, the Jade Emperor immediately ordered him to be demoted to the mortal world, and let the sand monk suffer from "ten thousand arrows piercing his heart" every day.

Because the sand monk was demoted to the mortal because he broke the glass cup, if he was crowned a Buddha, he would not be able to get along with the Jade Emperor's mother, and he did a lot of evil and countless evils when he was in the quicksand river, so he would not seal the sand monk as a Buddha.

Because Monk Sha broke the royal things and was demoted to the mortal world, sealing him as a Buddha means not giving face to the Jade Emperor and Queen Mother, and there may be a gap between Lingshan and Heavenly Court.

Because Monk Sha was demoted to the mortal world because he smashed the royal things, he did not have the heart to repent, and committed murder against innocent people. If he is crowned a Buddha, it will make the Jade Emperor unable to come to the stage, and Lingshan and Heavenly Court will be suspicious. Therefore, although he has merits, his sins are also innumerable, and they cannot be remedied, so he cannot be canonized as a Buddha.

Monk Sha as an apprentice of Tang Seng, he must not be able to directly seal the Buddha's position, let Monk Sha become a Buddha, in the end, the apprentice and the master's status is the same, then it is still there, Sun Wukong is because of the six-eared macaque incident, such as promising to give him success and bliss, to put it bluntly, it is the Buddha who was awarded after the completion of the scriptures.

It's not that he doesn't dare, but he doesn't want Monk Sha to become a Buddha, because Monk Sha didn't make much contribution to the team on the way to learn scriptures in the west.

It's very simple, if you know that he is paddling on the road, there is only hard work, no credit, in other words, it is not enough qualifications.

Because the fruit of becoming a Buddha in Journey to the West requires merit and motivation on the way to learn from the scriptures.

The full name of the sand monk position is "Nanwu Eight Treasures Arhat Bodhisattva" In the Buddhist scriptures, this Bodhisattva is not simple。He is the best of the eighteen arhats and, no one can possess the word "golden body".

But it is understandable that the Eight Precepts and the Sand Monk did not become Buddhas, because six of them are not clean. The eight precepts are only meritorious, and the sand monk is to protect the holy monk and lead the horse on the mountain, but it is really the spiritual realm that cannot reach the realm of the Buddha, so the two cannot forcibly seal the Buddha, and can only be named the messenger and the Arhat.

Tang Seng and Sun Wukong have become Buddhas because they have attained the Arhat Fruit; Zhu Bajie became the messenger of the Pure Altar, and Monk Sha became a golden-bodied Arhat, because they had attained the two fruits, and they had not yet broken off the karma of the realm, and Zhu Bajie was still thinking about Gao Laozhuang.

Sha Seng and Zhu Bajie have their own reasons and background forces. Zhu Bajie is 80% Laojun's person and 20% Jade Emperor's person (look at how Zhu Bajie wants to stand in line, from being degraded to standing in line Laojun), Sha Seng is the Jade Emperor's person.

The reason why Sha Seng was not named a Buddha was because of his obscurity and not high-profile personality, but Sha Seng was named Nan Wu Eight Treasures Golden Body Arhat Bodhisattva, and the Bodhisattva is the heir to the Buddha's throne. Although the sand monk has not become a Buddha, he is not far from the Buddha.

It is still easier to understand the question of why Sha Seng did not become a Buddha. The Buddha is not an official position, so he does not have the same power as an official position, he is just a specific title that has been practiced to a certain extent. A Buddha is actually more of an "enlightened being."

First of all, Sha Seng is not a bad person, he does everything for his own interests, but also for the interests of this small team. It is precisely because the scheming of the sand monk is deep in the city, and there is no great credit for Sun Wukong on the way to learn scriptures in the west, so in the end Sun Wukong became a Buddha, and Sha Seng did not become a Buddha.

The sand monk in "Journey to the West" is indeed just an Arhat, he did not become a Buddha, which is actually required by the sand monk himself.

Yes, strictly speaking, Sha Seng didn't call him, but he just became one of the Arhats, and Sha Seng was really miserable.
