Will the world really die in 2010?

2010 has passed, and we are not alive and well now, and we will not perish. (Could it be that in 2012, LZ made a mistake?) )

The claim that December 21, 2012 is the "end of the world" is a misunderstood statement. That day is the "zero day" of the Mayan calendar, which signifies the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new era, not the "end of the world." "In the Mayan calendar, 1,872,000 days is counted as a cycle, i.e. a year.

According to the "long calendar", the arrival of the winter solstice in 2012 means the end of the time of the current era, that is, the completion of a cycle of the year. The long calendar then starts counting from "zero days" and starts a new cycle. According to Avigny, "It's just a re-timed thought, exactly like when we start the year or week all over again every New Year's Day or Monday morning."

And 2012 just happened to be a lot of natural disasters (probably mostly because of the peak of solar storms) anyway, I don't believe this, in 1999 some people said it was the end of the world, isn't it still alive? (I was 2 years old at the time......)

I think it can be explained by Occam's razor principle: don't add entities if you don't have to. There are only two scenarios for these assumptions:

1, it's true 2, it's not true. Obviously, the second case is the most concise and does not need to be overly assumed. Those prophecies are just mediocre people, and when the time comes, the rumors will be self-defeating.

2010 is the year we have all experienced, 2012, the world will still exist as always, and it will be more shocking...

The year 2010 has passed, you are still there, did you say that the world is over.

It's 2011 now, brother, have you crossed over? If you ask about 2012, I hope it's true, saying that if you can meet the end of the world for a while in your lifetime, it will be considered a creation, not in vain! But what my brother lacks most in his life is these ups and downs like TV dramas, I guess I don't have the blessing to see such a spectacular scene as the end of the world in my life......Doomsday?

    Brother, you're so funny......

This year is 2011, so it can be seen that the world really did not die in 2010...
