Bing Xinshenqing's collection of poems is called the starry grid and spring water body by Mao Dun.
The Stars is a collection of poems consisting of 164 short poems. Bingxin has believed in the "philosophy of love" all her life, and she believes that "with love, there is everything". In "Stars", she constantly sang the hymn of love.
What she is most passionate about celebrating is maternal love. In addition to loving his parents, Bingxin also cherishes the love of brotherhood. She loves her three younger brothers.
In one of her later essays, "Sending Young Readers, Newsletter Thirteen", she also compared her three younger brothers to three bright stars. Bingxin celebrates her mother's love of skating, human love, and childlike innocence, but she also celebrates nature, especially the sea, which she has known since childhood. Singing the praises of nature, childlike innocence, and maternal love have become the eternal themes of Bingxin's lifelong creation.
Its themes are: Mother's Love, Nature, Innocence, Life.
"Stars and Spring Water" is recognized as the highest achievement of small poems, and is called "Starry Grid" and "Spring Water Body" by Mao Dun. The theme it embodies is: maternal love, nature, innocence, and constructs the core of Bingxin's thought "Philosophy of Love".
One is a celebration of maternal love and innocence; the second is the worship and praise of nature; The third is the thinking and perception of life. Many of these poems have been selected into middle school textbooks and are well received by readers.
Spring Water is a companion piece to The Stars, consisting of 182 short poems. It was also first published in the "Morning Post Supplement", but "Spring Water" came out three months later than "Stars".
In "Spring Water", although Bingxin is still singing about maternal love, family affection, childlike innocence, and nature, she has used more space. She uses a gentle tone with a slight sadness to describe the feelings in her heart, and she is also exploring the meaning of life and expressing her desire to recognize the world as it is.
