The epitaph states that he "lived ten dynasties,......He died at the age of 888 and was buried here on August 88, 8888. But the biggest problem with these historical accounts of 88 years, an increase of 81 years in 8 years. Before the founding of New China, the average life expectancy of Chinese was only 88 years.

June 15 (Reuters) -- A Lebanese woman's personal documents indicate that she was born in 1877 and is 126 years old this year, making her on track to become the world's longest-lived person.
Frail and wrinkled, Hamida Musormani still works on her family's farm in southern Lebanon. This week she showed a Reuters reporter a dossier from Lebanon's 1932 census. The dossier shows that Hamida Musormani was born in 1877.
Musormani said she is currently in good health, but her eyesight is weak.
Local Lebanese officials say Musolmani's documents are authentic, even though they date back to the year she was 55 years old. If the data from the Lebanese census were to be accurate, Musormani would be four years older than the world's oldest documented lifespan. The previous record for longevity was held by a French woman who lived to be 122 years old.
Musormani was born into a Shia Muslim peasant family. According to documents, her husband Ali was born in 1890, 13 years younger than her, and died in 1960. Musormani said
I only eat crops that I grow myself. In addition to my very weak eyesight, I am now in good physical condition. She said she already has about 100 children, the youngest of whom is only 10 months old.
According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the world's oldest person was Jean-Louise Carmen, a French woman, who died in 1997 when she held the record of 122 years and 164 days.

In 2010, during a recent census in Indonesia, staff unexpectedly found a 157-year-old man. The longest-lived lady in the world is now in good health and can do some household chores. Turina, who lives in a small village in southern Sumatra, Indonesia, claims to have been born in 1853.
Because Indonesia was a Dutch colony for hundreds of years before 1945, Turina is fluent in Dutch. The old man still has a good memory, and there are no problems with his eyesight and hearing. She was also able to do some housework around her home and smoked cloves all her life.
According to reports, the only person recorded in the current world record who lived past the age of 120 was Jeanne Carman, an elderly French woman, who died in 1997 at the age of 122. The Indonesian old man Turina can be called a well-deserved "birthday star" in the world.
