The default notebook is the optical drive boot, and the ones that have been changed can be changed again. Start the computer, press F2 (Lenovo) to enter the main interface of the AMI BIOS setup program, find "Boot" in the upper menu, press Enter, set the CD-ROM Drive (CD-ROM Drive Boot) with the keyboard + and - keys at the top in the open interface, press F10, then press Y, press Enter, save and exit. Insert the XP system disc, reboot, and press any key to open the disc.
Fourth, disc installation.
1. Put the disc into the optical drive, restart it, and see the CD ...... appear at the bottom of the screenWhen the word is written, press any key in time, otherwise the computer will skip the light and start from the hard disk again.
2. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to select "Install XP system to the first partition of the hard disk" and press Enter.
3. Enter the copy installation interface, the following is automatic, don't move anything, if you don't want to install some drivers, you can manually select the process roughly: display the copy progress, restart, automatic installation driver, XP installer, please wait (take a long time, wait patiently), the last task is being executed, automatic restart, and enter the desktop after displaying "Welcome".
4. Manually set the monitor resolution and refresh rate, and you're done.
