Under normal circumstances, there will be no major changes in the registration conditions for professional titles. If you hold an accounting qualification certificate and then have a high school degree or above, you can register for the exam.

Initial entry requirements

According to the "Notice on the Examination Schedule and Related Matters of the 2021 National Accounting Professional and Technical Primary and Senior Qualification Examinations" (Hui Kao No. 8, 2020).

1) Personnel who register for the accounting qualification examination shall meet the following basic conditions:

1.Comply with the "Accounting Law of the People's Republic of China" and the national unified accounting system and other laws and regulations.

2.Have good professional ethics and no serious violations of financial discipline.

3.Passionate about accounting and have the corresponding professional knowledge and business skills in accounting.

2) In addition to the basic conditions, those who sign up for the primary qualification examination must also have a high school graduation (including high school, technical secondary school, vocational high school and technical school) or above recognized by the national education department.

3) In addition to the basic conditions, those who register for the advanced qualification examination should also meet one of the following conditions:

1.Have a college degree, and have been engaged in work related to the duties of an accountant for 10 years after obtaining the title of accountant.

2.Have a master's degree, or a second bachelor's degree, or a graduate degree, or a bachelor's degree or bachelor's degree, and have been engaged in work related to the duties of an accountant for at least 5 years after obtaining the title of accountant.

3.Have a doctorate degree, and have been engaged in work related to the duties of an accountant for at least 2 years after obtaining the title of accountant.

4) The academic qualifications or degrees mentioned in this notice refer to the academic qualifications or degrees recognized by the national education administrative department.

5) The deadline for calculating the working years mentioned in this notice is December 31, 2021.

6) In-service personnel who meet the registration requirements shall register at the location of their work units in accordance with the principle of localization; Students who meet the registration requirements should register in the place where they are registered; Other persons who meet the registration requirements shall register at their place of household registration or residence.

Residents of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan who meet the registration requirements can register in the Mainland in accordance with the principle of proximity and convenience.
