What not to do? Vegetarianism is a good thing, and it's good for our health. Medically speaking, eating a vegetarian diet will reduce high blood pressure, reduce many cancers, and reduce many diseases in the body.

And our Dharma is not a vegetarian from this point of view, it is completely based on compassion, so I hope that everyone, whether they want to improve themselves, or to improve their health, or to increase their wisdom, merit, and compassion, should practice Buddhism. If we want to practice and study Buddhism, the first fundamental requirement is to slowly develop our correct knowledge and correct views, and the first step is to slowly get used to eating the three pure meats, eating the three pure meats, and then eating the five pure meats, never killing, saving lives, and then eating vegetarian food, so that the study of Buddhism will make great progress.

Studying Buddhism and being a vegetarian are two different things, so don't mix them up anymore and talk about the truth about Buddhism being a vegetarian.

Let's think about what kind of insight this is? What a misconception! Even though we are practicing Buddhism, if we have the wrong perception and go in the opposite direction, we will spend a lot of time and we will not be able to achieve any results, and this is because of the wrong knowledge and concept.

Especially when we practice in this mind, the difference is a millimeter, a thousand miles away, one is the south, the other is the north, and if we go in the opposite direction, we will get farther and farther away, if there is a cliff in front of us, and we will encounter a cliff and fall into the cliff, we will have a problem. Therefore, the scholar said that vegetarianism does not belong to Buddhism, that vegetarianism cannot relieve suffering, that vegetarianism cannot eliminate karma, that vegetarianism does not increase good fortune, and that cattle and horses are all vegetarians, so why do they still become animals?
