    French numbers are complicated.

    1-16 has a special spelling:

    un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq, six, sept, huit, neuf, dix, onze, douze, treize, quatorze, quinze, seize

    17-19 with addition (10+?) )

    dix-sept, dix-huit, dix-neuf

    Integers such as 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 have special spellings:

    vingt, trente, quarante, cinquante, soixante

    21, 31, 41, 51, 61 with addition:

    vingt-et-un, trente-et-un, quarante-et-un, cinquante-et-un, soixante-et-un

    22-29, 32-39, 42-49, 52-59, 62-69 with addition:

    vingt-deux, vingt-trois, vingt-quatre...

    70=60+10:soixante-dix

    71-79:soixante-et-un, soixante-deux...

    80 = 4 20s: quatre-vingt(s).
