The front port of the chassis in the market is generally compatible with the standard, that is, the front port can be compatible with different defined sound card input standards at the same time, in this case, only by selecting the corresponding standard mode can the front interface be used normally, such as the HD sound card is selected as AC97 mode, and the VIA sound card needs to turn off the front detection to work normally.

You should have AC'97 (another one might be called HD Audio) in the BIOS, so the driver settings are the same here.
Go into the BIOS and look for the option settings, this option is probably in the OnBoardDevices of the BIOS or in the Advanced-ChipSet-SouthBridge, here is an example.
Select HD Audio as you should
Different motherboards may have different BIOS options, so look for them.
-
HDMI interface? HDMI needs your monitor to support it, and then plug the speaker into the monitor.
-
In old cases, the front audio cable generally only has an AC97 plug.
New chassis, generally HD audio plugs.
There are a large number of over-products in the middle, both AC97 and HD Audio, open the case to see if you can replug it in.
-
Different hardware requires corresponding drivers to work properly.
If your sound card must be installed with the AC97 front headphone jack to have sound, it means that your sound card is AC97.
In order to determine this problem, you can install it in the next driver wizard test.

BIOS is a CMOS chip control program solidified in the motherboard to control the boot check of the computer.
