Poetic style. The seven-character quatrain belongs to the close style poems with relatively strict rhythmic requirements. The first is the fixed length.
The whole poem has four sentences, each sentence is seven words, a total of twenty-eight words. The second is the strict rhyme, which is usually only rhymed flat and cannot rhyme. It is also necessary to pay attention to the level, that is, to conform to the law of leveling, that is, under normal circumstances, two syllables (two words) are used as a sound step, and the balance is arranged interactively.
According to the level of the first two words of the first sentence, the seven-character quatrain is divided into two categories: flat and qi. Among them, there are two types of flat type:
1. Equal and even, the first sentence rhymes.
Second, the first sentence does not rhyme.
There are also two types of Qi Qi styles:
First, the first sentence rhymes.
Second, the first sentence does not rhyme.

The list of the rhythms of the seven-line poems is as follows:
Data Extension:
Seven-character poetry is a genre of traditional Chinese poetry, referred to as seven-law, which belongs to the category of near-style poetry. It originated in the new style poems of Shen Yue and other new styles of poetry that paid attention to sound rhythm and duality during the Qi Yongming period of the Southern Dynasty, and further developed and stereotyped in the early Tang Dynasty and Song Zhiwen, and matured in the hands of Du Fu in the prosperous Tang Dynasty.
The seven-word rhythm poem is strict, requiring the number of words in the poem to be uniform, composed of eight sentences, each sentence has seven good words, every two sentences are a couplet, a total of four couplets, divided into the first couplet, the jaw couplet, the neck couplet and the tail couplet, and the middle two couplets require the battle to clear the lead. Representative works include Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower", Du Fu's "Ascending", Li Shangyin's "Anding City Tower" and so on.
Seven-character poetry refers to poems with seven words and eight sentences that conform to the norms of rhythmic poetry, referred to as "seven-law", which is a kind of rhythmic poetry. Lyric poetry belongs to the category of near-body poetry, hence its name because of its strict rhythm. The rise of seven-character poetry is later than that of five-character poetry.
It originated in the Northern and Southern Dynasties, sprouted in Qi Liang's new style poems, and was stereotyped in the early Tang Dynasty.
In the early Tang Dynasty, Shen Yan, Song Zhiwen, Du Xianyan, and Li Qiao began to write articles, and in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Wang Wei, Li Ji, Cen Shen, and Jia Zhi deliberately tempered it to achieve proficiency in the system, while Cui Hao and Li Bai still have works that are mixed and half-ancient and half-law.
Although the seven-character poems of this period also have high-quality and beautiful famous poems, most of the content belongs to the system and remuneration, which is more narrow than the five-character poems. At the same time, the seven laws of poets such as Li Bai, Wang Wei, and Gao Shi in the Tang Dynasty were mostly wrong, sticky, and repeated.
It was only when Du Fu arrived that the seven-character poems showed their poetic potential and opened up the world of art. Du Fu has comprehensively opened up the realm of poetry, and the current affairs and political theories, life experience, customs, cultural relics and historic sites are all cast in the strict rhythm, and the value of this poetry is raised to the height of standing side by side with ancient poems and quatrains.

Seven-character poetry is a form of classical Chinese poetry, usually consisting of eight lines and seven characters, with a total of fifty-six characters. The following are the basic rules of the seven-character poem: Word Count:
Each seven-character poem has 8 lines, and each line has 7 words, for a total of 56 words. Pingxuan: Pingqian is the basic syllable of poetry, Pingyin includes Yinping (finals starting with a, o, e) and Yangping (finals starting with i, stool huu, ü), and Yinyin includes Yin, Yang, Shangsheng, and Desheng.
In general, the first of each sentence.
The first, second and fourth characters need to follow one of the four modes of Pingping, Pingping, Pingping, and Pingping, the first nuclear cavity.
There are no strict requirements for three, five, and seven characters. Rhyme: The last word of each sentence of the seven-word poem needs to rhyme, that is, the finals of the last word of every two sentences should be the same. Usually the first.
Rhyme with one or two sentences, first.
Three or four rhymes, first.
Five or six rhymes, seven or eight rhymes. Sentence structure: Each sentence of a seven-character poem consists of two halves, usually the first half of the sentence proposes a theme, and the second half of the sentence is further described or developed.
Battle: Each sentence of the seven-character poem needs to be opposed, that is, the words in the same position in each two sentences need to correspond to the meaning, part of speech, tone, etc. For example, "At the end of the day, the Yellow River flows into the sea."
In these two sentences, "Bairi" and "Yellow River", "Yishan" and "Into the Sea" all form a good battle. Pause: There needs to be a certain pause in the middle of each sentence (that is, after the fourth word) to form a special sense of rhythm.
The above are the basic rules of seven-character poetry, but in actual creation, poets often flexibly use these rules according to their own needs, or even break the rules, in order to express their emotions and artistic conceptions.
