Liang Sizhong (1907-1932), the third son of Liang Qichao, was born in Japan in 1907, and went to the United States to study after graduating from Tsinghua University in his early years, and studied at the Virginia Military Academy and the West Point Military Academy.
Among all the children of Liang Qichao studying abroad, Liang Sizhong had the highest political enthusiasm, and in early 1927, Liang Sizhong once wanted to terminate his studies and return to China to participate in the Northern Expedition, but was dissuaded by his father. In the early 30s of the 20th century, Liang Sizhong returned to China after graduation and joined the National Revolutionary Army.
After enlisting in the army, due to his study abroad qualifications and outstanding talents, Liang Sizhong was soon promoted to the artillery colonel of the 19th Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army. In the 1932 January 28th Songhu Anti-Japanese War, the 19th Route Army stationed in Shanghai fought bloodily, and Liang Sizhong performed quite well.
It's a pity that shortly thereafter, Liang Sizhong, who was on the front line, accidentally drank dirty water on the side of the road during the battle, and as a result, he suffered from peritonitis and died at the age of 25.
