On November 21, 1911, Li Xinghua was born in Daheituo Village, Leting County, Hebei Province. In the summer of 1920, he settled in Beijing with his family.
On April 6, 1927, the warlord Zhang Zuolin ordered the arrest of Li Dazhao, and Li Xinghua's mother and son were imprisoned for more than 20 days. She wittily interrogated the enemy in court, so that her eldest brother Li Baohua escaped the enemy's search.
After Li Dazhao took the rebellion, the Beijing Police Department ordered Li Dazhao's bereaved family to leave Beijing within a time limit. On May 10, 1927, Li Xinghua's family was forced to return to Daheituo Village. She dropped out of school to take care of her seriously ill mother in the countryside.
It was not until the summer vacation of 1931 that he returned to Beijing with his younger brother and sister to resume school. In the following year, she entered the high school of the Confucius Institute of the Sino-French University. When she couldn't make ends meet, she worked part-time to engrave wax French handouts for the school under the care of her father's friends, and subsidized some living expenses every month.
In the spring of 1932, she joined the anti-imperialist alliance led by the party, and in the summer of the same year, she joined the Communist Party of China and participated in the party's underground revolutionary work. She lent the school to engrave lecture notes as a cover and engraved revolutionary leaflets for the party. Cover the party's underground workers and participate in the rescue of ** comrades.
In the early winter of 1932, due to changes in circumstances, she lost her party ties. In the spring of the following year, he took his mother to Beijing to prepare for the burial of his father. On April 23, 1933, under the arrangement of the party organization, Li Xinghua buried his father in Xiangshan Wan'an Cemetery together with the funeral procession.
Thirty-five days after his father was buried, his mother Zhao Yunlan died of illness. With the help of relatives and friends, she buried her mother and father side by side in Wanan Cemetery. In the summer of this year, Li Xinghua was promoted to the Department of Social Sciences of Confucius College.
In December 1935, Li Xinghua participated in the "December 9" anti-Japanese national salvation movement. The following year, she married Jia Zhi. In the summer of 1937, she graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Sino-French University.
