It is normal for a new car to not turn on the battery for a long time, and it can be divided into 3 situations:

First, the battery can still start the car and charge it with its own generator, half a month to 1 month;

Second, the battery cannot start the car, but the instrument works normally for 1 to 2 months;

Third, the instrument cannot work normally, more than 2 months.

Theoretically speaking, the car will not affect the normal operation of the battery for two months at most, of course, it is best to unplug the positive and negative poles of the battery (to avoid the natural power consumption of the car battery). However, for some cars in poor condition, the battery may have a battery loss in about a week.

If the car is not driven for a long time, the battery will lose power and the engine will not catch fire after being parked for too long. This is because even if the car is in the flame-off state, the battery will produce a certain amount of discharge noise to maintain the normal state of the vehicle circuit system and ECU driving computer, which we call the battery "dormant discharge".

Dormant discharge consumes about 1% of the battery capacity every day, taking a 45-60ah car battery as an example, when the battery is full, the battery power will be used up in about 100 days.

And when the battery capacity is less than half, the car will have difficulty starting. If the car is equipped with other electrical equipment or central alarms, etc., the power loss will be faster. Therefore, even if the battery is full, the car will be parked for two months at most, and there will be power loss and difficulty in starting.

You don't have to worry too much, as long as you drive for one to two hours according to normal driving, you can restore the normal power. If it is severe enough to start the engine, it needs to be activated by a jumper start generator.

Although the car is indeed a very convenient means of transportation, it is not guaranteed to be driven often, and it is very sleepy to go out sometimes and sometimes go far away, so I have to put my own car away. However, we need to understand that even if the car does not move, the battery will still wear out naturally (about 1 damage per day and night). Then the problem comes at this time, how many days can the car battery be left in normal condition, and how long the car battery will be out of power.

In fact, there is no line segment for the number of days that the car battery is placed normally, and it must be determined according to the battery volume and attenuation coefficient level. Theoretically speaking, it is impossible for the car to be placed for 2 months to endanger the normal operation of the battery, so naturally try to pull out the battery as much as possible (to prevent the car battery from consuming electricity).

As everyone knows, for some cars with poor vehicle conditions, it is very likely that the battery will be out of power for a week or so. But we don't need to worry too much, we just need to drive for one to two hours as normal and we can restore our electricity consumption. If it is already serious enough to start the engine, it will be necessary to carry out jumper operation of the generator set to provoke the conversation.

The process of running a generator set across the jumper:

1.The auxiliary battery was first guaranteed to be 12 volts and the negative electrode was already grounded. Naturally, you also need to turn off any extra headlights and accessories to prevent electricity safety accidents.

2.Proceed with the connection of the jumper cables in the order shown below. But don't connect the wrong wire, otherwise sparks will jump out in the process of pulling, and you also need to wrap the cable and the battery two times tightly (enough contact) to prevent flashing in the middle of the trip.

3.Start the engine of the auxiliary battery car and run the engine at medium speed. Then start the engine of Wang Weilao, a motor vehicle whose battery has run out of power.

4.Eventually, it would be nice to immediately disconnect the cables in a completely relative order.

The storage time of the car without starting the battery for a long time is determined according to the static discharge current of the whole vehicle, and it is necessary to measure it with a universal meter to calculate the accurate number of parking days, and the specific methods are as follows:

Use a multimeter to connect the meter between the battery and the negative electrode cable according to the connection method in the figure below.

Before connecting the meter in series, you need to set up the meter first, and the first thing is to choose the type. The knob is turned to the DC current gear, and the sign is a horizontal at the top, three points in the middle, and a capital A at the bottom. This meter does not need to select the range, the ordinary multimeter should choose the flow 10A, or DC 20A.

Then select the pen position, the black pen is always in the com position, and the red pen is DC 10A

Or DC 20A.

Finally, connect to the battery, turn off the key and all the electrical appliances on the car, and lock it remotely. Connect the red watch pen to the battery cable and fix it firmly. Loosen the negative cable screws, connect the black watch pen to the battery end, and then slowly remove the negative cable.

Be sure to disconnect the cable after connecting the watch pen, and the watch pen cannot be reversed, otherwise the reading will be negative.

Wait for the various modules of the vehicle to go to sleep and read out the exact static discharge amount. Generally within 50mA is normal, the above picture is measured at 335mA, and the battery of this car is 65ah. Calculate 65, 194 24=, that is, 8 days to drain all the battery power.

The vehicle will not be able to start in less than 4 days.

If the battery has been used for two years, it may last for up to a month.

If it is a battery less than 2 years old, under normal circumstances, 2-3 months should be fine, enough to start the storage of the vehicle.

It is recommended to start once for more than 1 month, and keep it for more than 15 minutes without extinguishing the ignition, which is conducive to battery maintenance and maintenance of the oil circuit.

If it does not start for a long time, there may be gas in the oil circuit or there is no fuel in the oil circuit, starting will be troublesome.
