Reading books has a sense of the second.
Last night, the riverside was born in spring, and the giant ship was light. It has always been a waste of power, and this day is free.
Literal translation: Last night, the spring water in the river suddenly rose, which made the great war ship float on the water as light as a feather. In the past, when there was little water, no matter how much effort it took to move the huge ship, now the boat can sail freely in the river.
Zhu Zi's poem uses a boat as a metaphor, which is deeply philosophical. On the one hand, it can be used as a metaphor for the sudden happiness of enlightenment, and on the other hand, it can also be used as a metaphor for the blind and useless actions when the time has not yet come, and the unimpeded when the time is ripe.

Southern Song Dynasty Zhu Xi.
Last night, the riverside was born in spring, and the giant ship was light.
It has always been a waste of power, and this day is free.
Second, it is also a poem that uses images to reason. It uses rafting as an example to allow readers to experience the truth related to learning. In the poem, it is said that in the past, the boat was shallow and the people pushed the boat in vain, but when the spring water rose sharply, even the giant ship was as light as a feather, floating freely in the current.
The poem highlights the importance of spring water, which is intended to emphasize that learning requires hard work to reach home in order to make a breakthrough. This poem is likely to have been written by the author after pondering a certain problem and suddenly having an experience after studying.
-
Learning from the source of living water as a metaphor, we must continue to absorb new knowledge, so that we can make progress with each passing day.
-
The more books you read, the more knowledge you will have. In this way, when writing essays, you will be handy, and even the biggest problems can be solved.
-
This poem also uses images to reason, telling us: only when we are well-read, pay attention to accumulation, and do knowledge, can we use it freely. The poem highlights the importance of spring water, and the objective meaning contained in it is to emphasize the flourishing of artistic inspiration.
It is enough to make artistic creation flow freely; It can also be understood as the basic kung fu of creating art to get home, so that practice makes perfect, such as a driver's license.

Last night, the spring water by the riverside was born, and the Mengchong giant ship was light. (Meng Chong a work: 艨艟).
It has always been a waste of power, and this day is free.
-
The objective meaning of highlighting the importance of spring water in the poem is to emphasize the flourishing of artistic inspiration, which is enough to make artistic creation smooth and free; It can also be understood that creating art requires basic kung fu at home, and practice makes perfect, and it can be controlled freely.
The spring water of this river is like the knowledge that people have learned, and the big boat in motion is also like daily practice. Without sufficient and in-depth knowledge, a lot of energy is wasted in daily practice. Once you have laid a solid foundation, everything will be incredibly easy and effortless.
It's the same with learning, there is no shortcut, only when you get home, can you make a breakthrough. This is the poet's impression of reading, but borrowing the spring scenery to write, it adds to its own persuasiveness, vivid imagery, and also sublimates the artistic conception of the whole poem.
The central idea
This poem entrusts a profound philosophy through the comparison of images, which is interesting to read and profound to think. Literally, it paints two pictures: one is that the days and the moon are turning, and the earth is once again spring, and everything is revived, and the earth is moistened.
The water on the river rose, and the huge ships floated on the river, briskly like a feather floating in the water. This metaphor depicts a fresh and lovely picture of a large ship moving briskly and freely on the river due to the depth of the water.
The other is that the frozen mountains are cold, the river is gentle, many people push and pull, and it is difficult for a small boat to move. The author glued these two pictures together using the reverse method. Four short poems, quite turbulent, one to one, the image is distinct.

Appreciation: This poem uses images to illustrate reason, and it is written about the insights that Zhu Xi got when he was reading. Take the boat as an example, and attach the philosophy to the vivid image.
In the poem, it is written that the giant ship that runs aground on weekdays becomes light and comfortable after the spring tide rises, as light as a feather. In such a comparison, it is explained that the spring tide rises sharply, which is the premise of the giant ship's sailing, and the poet uses this as a metaphor for the need for knowledge reserves like the spring tide for creation. The last two sentences of the poem emphasize that knowledge is the premise of thinking, and only when the knowledge reserve is sufficient, can thinking be unimpeded, and the meaning is profound and agreeable.
This poem is written about the insights that Zhu Xi got when he was reading, so that readers can experience the truth related to learning.
Expansion: Zhu Xi was a physicist, thinker, philosopher, educator, and poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. Among the physicists of the Southern Song Dynasty, Lu Jiuyuan was also a very famous figure.
He is 9 years younger than Zhu Xi. The two basically have the same academic goals, but their thinking methods and ways of understanding are very different. From a philosophical point of view, the Zhu and Lu schools were two different schools of thought within the idealistic science of the Southern Song Dynasty, and due to their different views, the two schools had a long-term debate on academic issues.
The debate between Zhu and Lu was mainly through the exchange of letters. But there was one exception.
In the second year of the Chunxi reign of Song Xiaozong, in order to reconcile the differences between Zhu and Lu, another famous scholar Lu Zuqian initiated the invitation of Lu Jiuyuan, Lu Jiuling and Zhu Xi to gather in the Ehu Temple in Xinzhou, which is today's Leadshan County, Jiangxi Province, and the main issue of discussion was "the way to learn". This is the famous "Goose Lake Theory" in the history of Chinese academics.
Five years after the Goose Lake Meeting, Lu Jiuyuan came to visit Zhu Xi at the White Deer Cave Academy and asked Zhu Xi to write an epitaph for his brother Lu Jiuling. After some conversation, the two showed mutual admiration. Zhu Xi also invited Lu Jiuyuan to give lectures to the teachers and students of the college.
This incident shows that although Zhu and Lu have different views, they both have a gentlemanly style of magnanimity in academic exchanges and in their attitude towards people and things.
