According to the regulations, Chinese mainland resident ID cards and passports are considered valid identity documents.
2) In the case of expired, lost, or forgotten resident identity cards, the temporary resident identity card or the "Receipt for Application for Resident Identity Card" issued by the public security organ with a recent bareheaded ID photo, stamped with a special seal for household registration, and indicating the validity period may be used as a valid identity document for flight departure.
3) Residents of Chinese mainland under the age of 16 who are unable to apply for a resident identity card by themselves must present a birth medical certificate, household registration booklet, student ID card or identity certificate issued by the public security organ where their household registration is located. It should be noted that under the age of 16 must issue an identity certificate at the police station where the household registration is located, and the airport police station cannot issue a temporary identity certificate.
4) Passengers taking domestic flights shall use the same valid ID card when going through ticketing, check-in and security checks.
