Advanced English Listening Translation Part 2 of a Lesson 12 Passage

Israeli ** Simon Peres met with the US top ** in Washington this Sunday. Last Sunday, he had just held talks with Egypt's Hosni Mubarak. This afternoon, Israeli leaders and Reagan met at the White House.

In the weeks before coming to Washington, Israeli Shimon Perez resigned from his position as planned, and swapped roles with the current chief Yitzhak Shamir.
