Open my computer,Right-click on the disk you want to convert the format,Then click Format,Then the pop-up window options have the format you want,Generally use fat32,But if you want to enlarge the file, it's best to use NTFS,My 4 disks are NTFS,Drag it when you put 3D movies。 But before formatting, you have to see if there is anything very important in the disk.,Otherwise, it's gone as soon as it's formatted.。。
-
On the premise of not reinstalling the computer, you can convert fat32 to NTFS (you can enter convert partition name: fs:ntfs in the run), if you want to convert NTFS to fat32, you must reinstall it.

-
When installing the system, you can use the hard disk software to change the partition format, or you can change it on the desktop, but it is recommended that you don't get it yourself.
-
Click on the drive letter, then there is a format, then choose the format you want to convert.

There are NTF format and FAT32 format, you can use which format you want to choose!

The tools that come with the Windows system will do.
Under Windows, there are mainly FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, etc., and the latest format is EXFAT[1], and different disk formats have different characteristics.
The FAT format is basically no longer in use, and the hard disk FAT32 format can be changed to NTFS format for the release of compressed file packages larger than 4G, generally referring to large games.
Windows 2000 XP provides a partition format conversion tool." It is a DOS command line program that comes with Windows 2000, through which you can convert FAT to NTFS without destroying the FAT file system. It should be noted that you must close all the apps before the conversion starts, otherwise the system will send an error message.
In addition, you can also use a specialized conversion tool, such as the well-known lossless partitioning tool for hard drives, Partition Magic, which is also very easy to convert to disk file formats.
First, enter the "convertx: fs:ntfs" command in the command prompt window of Windows 2000 XP (X is the logical drive letter you want to convert), and after the conversion is completed, it will give you a prompt message about the partition of the converted disk.
If there are files on the partition you want to convert that are being used by the system, then when converting, the converter will ask if you want to unmount the volume (i.e. partition) you want to convert, then it is best to select "No", and finally it will ask if you want to convert the partition the next time the computer starts, select "Yes" and restart the machine to complete the conversion.
If the partition you want to convert has been used for a while, it is recommended to do a disk scan and disk defragmentation first. If there is a volume label on the FAT or FAT32 partition to be converted, it is best to remove the volume label beforehand for convenience. Once the conversion is complete, add the volume label.
Key features: Hard Disk Manager can help you easily and safely change the size of disk partitions and various partition parameters at will, and perfectly support various commonly used operating systems!
Hard Disk Manager supports multi-partition boot function, which helps you easily break through partition restrictions and install multiple operating systems at will!

1. Select the computer on the desktop, right-click and select Manage;
2. Click Disk Management, select Dynamic Disk, and right-click to convert to Basic Disk.
Note: If it is a dynamic disk where the win7 system is located, the "Convert to basic disk" menu option that you right-click after selecting the disk is gray and not optional, and you cannot convert the dynamic disk to a basic disk; If it is a dynamic disk that is not where the system resides, you can delete all the volumes and select Convert to Basic Disk.
You must already have four primary partitions on the disk, but you still have an unallocated space to create partitions, so you will be converted to a dynamic disk when you create it (there should be a hint before the change).
There are no partitions in a dynamic disk, only "volumes" (of course, there are no primary, extended, logical, etc.), and there is no limit to the number of volumes, which is a more advanced mode than basic disks. If you only have one win7 on your original disk, you will not be able to use it (not boot) after conversion. However, if it is a dual system, the second system will not be able to start.
If you want to convert a dynamic disk back to a basic disk, according to Microsoft, you must delete all volumes on the disk before you can convert back to the basic disk. This requires you to hook the hard drive to another machine that already has a functioning system, and handle it in Windows Disk Management. If you use a third-party tool to force the conversion, there is no guarantee that the conversion will be successful, and compatibility with Windows cannot be guaranteed.
