In the group to Jesus' right, we see a dark face leaning backwards, as if retreating from Jesus. His elbows rested on the dining table, and he clutched a money bag in his hand. We know he's the traitor, Judas. Iscariot.
The money bag in Judas's hand is a symbol of him, and it reminds us that he was the one who kept the money for Jesus and the other disciples, and that the money bag contained a reward of thirty pieces of silver for the betrayal of Jesus.
Even if he didn't have that money bag in his hand, we would have been able to get through. Finch's way of painting discerns this evil enemy, Judas.
Next to the shadow on the side of Judah is the saint. Peter, we can also see him with silver hair and white hands, and he is to the young saint. John leaned in. Peter's right hand, dangling from his hip, held a knife as if by chance, the tip of the knife was pointed at Judas' back.
Saint. John's head hung toward Peter. Of all the disciples, he was Jesus' favorite one. John was as calm as Jesus, and he had come to understand the words of his master.
To Jesus' left was James the Younger, trying to understand the terrible words he had heard, and he spread his hands wide and screamed.
Looking over the shoulders of little Jacob, we see St. Thomas, the bewildered, whose look of doubt is expressed through his raised fingers.
On the other side of James the Little, St. Philip leaned towards Jesus and put his hands on his chest as if to say, "You know my heart, and you know that I will never betray you." His face was distressed by love and loyalty.
The six disciples surrounding Jesus are at the center of the story.
Bartholomew and old James leaned over them, and old Andrew, who was beside them, did not stand up, but he wanted to hear, so he raised his hand as if to ask for silence.
There are still the last three disciples left on the right, and they are discussing what Jesus said, and their fingers are also pointing to the ** of the table.
All of what they see is happening in this great work, but every time we look at it, we take on a new meaning from the feelings and character of the disciples.

1. On the eve of the celebration of the Passover, Jesus and his twelve disciples sat at the table and had a dinner to celebrate the Passover. There were thirteen people at the table, and it was their last dinner together. At the dinner table, Jesus was suddenly troubled and told his disciples that one of them was going to betray him, but Jesus did not say that he was Judas, and the disciples did not know who was going to betray Jesus.
