A charge pump can be used.
A charge pump is a DC-DC converter that uses a capacitor as an energy storage element, which is mostly used to generate an output voltage that is larger than the input voltage, or to generate a negative output voltage. The charge pump circuit is electrically efficient, about 90-95%, and the circuit is fairly simple.
Charge pumps utilize a number of switching elements to control the voltage connected to the capacitor. For example, it can be used in conjunction with a two-stage cycle to produce a higher impulse voltage output with a lower input voltage. In the first stage of the cycle, the capacitor is connected to the power supply and is therefore charged to the same voltage as the power supply, and in the first stage, the circuit configuration is adjusted so that the capacitor and the supply voltage are connected in series.
If the effect of leakage current is not taken into account, and assuming that there is no load, the output voltage will be twice the input voltage (the original supply voltage plus the voltage at both ends of the capacitor). The pulse characteristics of higher output voltages can be filtered by the output filter capacitors.

The microcontroller should work fine with 3V, you can try it.

The chip of LN2351 can be used, and the current is not large, and the voltage can be directly boosted, and the output is about 200mA. Spread out the MOS when a large current is required.
It should be noted that if you use a chip, BL8505 three-terminal boost regulator IC, the minimum working voltage of the IC is only. Output voltage range, stepped. It is available in a TO92 tripod package and has the exact same form factor as the 9013 transistor.

There is a chip of LN2351, which directly boosts the voltage if the current is not large, and the output is estimated to be 200mA. When a large current is needed, the MOS of the AO I chose at that time had a single battery output of 600mA current. It seems to be a Japanese company called Nanlin Electronics.

What's this? With two in series, you can become more than 3V.

FS2115 Two-Cell Dry Cell Boost IC Fixed Output Voltage: The non-inductive boost chip has a built-in inductor output boost IC FS2115A
The FS2115 is a low noise, fixed frequency capacitive voltage multiplier. If the load current is less than 45mA, light load mode will be activated. A fixed output that requires a minimum input voltage of (2 alkaline batteries).
The FS2115 features constant frequency operation over all load levels. The built-in soft-start circuit prevents current overshoot at start-up. Thermal shutdown and current-limiting circuitry allow the chip to avoid short circuits from vout to ground.
The use of high switching frequencies minimizes the area of the chip, allowing the use of tiny ceramic capacitors. On shutdown, the load is disconnected from the input and the quiescent current is reduced to 1 A. The HU3031 is available in an SOT23-6 package.

There are many such switching regulators. NCP1400ASN33T1G is recommended, its minimum input working voltage can even work normally under the power supply of a dry battery), the maximum output current is 100mA, the current consumed by itself during operation is only 7 A (typical value 15 A (maximum value), and the standby current is only typical value (maximum value).
The connection of its peripheral components is shown in the following figure
