Li Yulian is a painter. His ancestral home is Chengguan Town, Yongchang County, Gansu Province. Graduated from Xi'an Shiyou University. He has been involved in Chinese painting since he was a child and has been engaged in Chinese painting creation for more than 20 years.

Born in Sichuan in August 1968, he went to Qingyang, Gansu Province with his father Li Guangwen in 1970, and worked in Ansai County, Ganquan County and Liquan County in Shaanxi Province after graduating from school in September 1989. He has participated in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningbo Petroleum Battle and has accumulated a rich artistic life. Later, he was admitted to the Chinese painting seminar of Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts for two years under the tutelage of Professor Liu Wenxi.
Since 2005, he has been specializing in the creation of Chinese painting in Xi'an. He is a member of the China Folk Artists Association, a member of the China Petroleum Artists Association, and a director of the Yan'an Artists Association.
