The World Basketball Federation released the latest men's basketball rankings of various countries, with the United States team first, Argentina second, and China ranked eleventh. In this ranking table, the United States team has 832 points, 112 points higher than the second-place Argentina team. The highest ranking among the European powers is Gasol's Spain in third place, and Yugoslavia (which has been used for historical reasons) in fourth place with 508 points.
The Chinese team is unbeaten in Asia, ranking 11th in this ranking with 262 points. With the exception of China, no Asian country is ranked in the top 20. Here are the detailed rankings.
Rank Country Points 1 United States 832 2 Argentina 720 3 Spain 619 4 Yugoslavia 508 5 Lithuania 460 6 Greece 429 7 Italy 418 8 France 343 9 Germany 282 10 Australia 279 11 China 262 12 New Zealand 228 13 Puerto Rico 218 14 Angola 206 15 Canada 196 16 Turkey 194 17 Brazil 168 18 Russia 162 19 Croatia 125 20 Slovenia 121 1, United States Although it failed to win the championship, the United States basketball is still the highest level in the world. 2. Argentina The existence of Ginobili, the "European Flying Man", gives Argentina the strength to win the championship. 3. Spain Without Gasol, Spain has become more ferocious, defeating the powerful Greece, and winning the championship for the first time is the biggest reward for the Spanish men's basketball team.
4. The turmoil in Serbia and Montenegro has seriously affected this old powerhouse. 5. Lithuania is a veteran powerhouse in Europe, and there is already a downward trend. 6. Greece The Greek team has reached the pinnacle of team basketball drills, and although they only won the silver medal, they have created the myth of civilian basketball.
7. Italy Italy's rankings could have gone up, but they died at their own hands. 8. France Parker's injury affected the French team's record. If Parker returns, France will move up several places in the rankings.
9. Germany Germany is Nowitzki's one-man team. 10. Australia 11. China Under the leadership of Yao Ming, the Chinese team successfully reached the top 16 and rose 3 places to 11th.

If the Chinese men's basketball team does not pay attention to organizing guards and forwards, it will not want to go up in the rankings.
The strongest period of the Chinese men's basketball team was the 96 Olympic Games, when the 19-year-old Wang Zhizhi was nominally a substitute center, but he was a key figure in the historical breakthrough that year, and won a "double-double" of points, rebounds and 5 blocks in a game for the first time in the Olympic Games! Although the Chinese men's basketball team led by Yao was also eighth in the Olympic Games, it was only 1 point narrowly defeated the Serbian and Montenegro team (not the strong Yugoslav team before) in 04 years, and the 08 Beijing Olympics still failed to make a breakthrough in the case of the favorable time and place in the homeland (there was hope for a breakthrough, but Yao was too heavy and Wang was abandoned, resulting in the final loss of the game against Spain where Yao replaced the king).
