Report Match ball: jabulani
South Africa's official World Cup ball jabulani "jabulani" is derived from the African Zulu language, which means "universal celebration". The new match ball is a historic breakthrough in technology and has been designed with South African elements in mind. This match ball was developed and created by Adidas.
On December 4, 2009, Adidas and FIFA jointly released the official match ball "Jabulani" for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa in Cape Town. The "Jabulani" features Adidas' newly developed "Grip'n'Groove" sphere, which allows the ball to maintain a stable flight path in all weather conditions, thus greatly improving the player's control of the ball. For the first time, Adidas uses a spherical mold to create a three-dimensional structure for each skin, which is then stitched together with thermal bonding technology, resulting in a rounder and more precise operation than ever before.
