The half-shaft casing is prone to fracture from the outer edge of the interference fit with the outermost bridge housing.
The journal where the half-shaft sleeve fits with the hub bearing is prone to wear.
The parts of the bridge casing that are prone to cracks: the steel plate seat with the largest bending moment; Brake floors where torsional stresses are concentrated; Underside of the middle of the bridge housing.
The threaded holes of the axle housing are worn, so that the connecting bolts between the reducer and the axle housing are often loosened, resulting in oil leakage, aggravated gear wear, and even tooth punching.
The bearing hole of the leaf spring positioning ring on the axle housing is worn, which will make the positioning of the drive axle inaccurate, resulting in a decrease in the driving stability of the wheels and abnormal wear of the tires.
2.Final drive casing damage analysis.
The deformation of the shell and the wear of the bearing holes of each bearing make the bevel gear mesh poor, and the contact area is reduced, resulting in early damage to the gear and increased transmission noise.
3.Half-shaft damage analysis.
The spline is worn, twisted and deformed;
Hemiaxial fracture (stress concentration);
Wear of the journal at the outer end of the semi-floating half-shaft in conjunction with the bearing;
4.Differential housing damage analysis.
Wear of the spherical seat of the planetary gear;
Wear of the end face of the half-shaft gear support and the wear of the seat hole of the half-shaft gear journal;

The wear of the above parts will increase the mating clearance and the meshing clearance of the gear, and there will be abnormal noise.
5.Gear damage analysis.
The contact surface of the bevel gear is worn and peeled, which increases the meshing clearance, resulting in high transmission noise and even toothing.
Thread damage to the driving bevel gear causes it to be misaligned, resulting in tooth punching.
