How to use a fingerprint reader in an HP notebook?

Start - > All Programs - > Windows Update - > update button. Wait a few seconds for it to automatically check for updates.

Once installed, your computer will automatically restart. Once powered on, tap Start - > Control Panel - > Hardware & Sound - > Biometric Devices.

Click Manage fingerprint data.

Click on the icon of the finger you want to set and enter the password of your Windows account.

Follow the on-screen prompts to place your finger on the fingerprint reader to scan the fingerprint information.

After the fingerprint scan is completed, log out of the computer and log in to Windows by scanning the fingerprint.
