In 1896, the Wright brothers saw a news in the newspaper that Lilienthal of Germany had died in a crash while driving a glider. The news shook them so much that the brothers decided to study aerial flight.
At this time, the Wright brothers ran a bicycle shop. They worked to earn money and studied flight information. Three years later, having acquired a great deal of knowledge about aviation, they decided to copy a glider.
They first observed the movements of the eagles in the air, then drew them one by one before they set out to design the glider. In October 1900, the Wright brothers finally built their first glider and took it to Kitty Hawk's seashore, far from Dayton, in the middle of nowhere, with no trees or houses, and where the wind was strong enough to fly the glider.
It took the brothers a week to set the glider up, tie it to a rope and fly it like a kite, and it worked. Then Wilbur sat on it for the test, and although it flew up, it was only more than 1 meter high.
The following year, the brothers made another glider on the basis of the last one and after several improvements. In the autumn of that year, they came to the Kitty Hawk beach, and once they tested, they flew at an altitude of 180 meters.
The brothers were very happy, but not satisfied. They wanted to make a machine that could fly without the power of the wind.
The brothers thought about it repeatedly, gathered the information about the flight, and studied it repeatedly, but they could never think of what power to use to transport the petted glider and people into the air. One day, a car was parked in front of the dealership and the driver borrowed a tool from them. Let's fix the engine of the car.
The brothers had an idea to see if they could use the engines of their cars to propel them into flight.
From then on, the brothers worked around the engine. They first measured that the maximum carrying capacity of the glider was 90 kilograms, so they ordered an engine from the factory that could not exceed 90 kilograms. But the lightest engine at that time was 190 kg, and the factory could not make such a light engine.
Later, an engineer who built the engine found out about this and agreed to help the Wright brothers. After some time, the engineer built a 12-horsepower gasoline engine weighing only 70 kilograms.
The brothers were so pleased that they soon began to study how to use the engine to propel the glider into flight. After countless experiments, they finally installed the engine on the glider, but the propeller was attached to the glider, and the engine pushed the propeller to rotate and drive the glider to fly.
In September 1903, the Wright brothers took their engined flight again to Kitty Hawk's seashore. Although this test flight failed, they learned a lot from it. Soon after, they made several more test flights, either because of a failure of the propeller, or a problem with the engine, or because of a problem with the piloting technique.
Undeterred, the Wright brothers still insisted on the test flight. At this time, an inventor named Lanlai, commissioned by the United States, to build an airplane with a gasoline engine, crashed into the sea during a test flight.

The Wright brothers, the father of airplanes, who were born in the age of horse-drawn carriages, invented the world's first airplane.

The Wright brothers of the United States, the designers of the first powered aircraft in human history, made a modest contribution to the creation of modern aviation. Their stories are told all over the world.
One day, his father, who returned from a business trip, brought the Wright brothers a gift: a flying butterfly. Father gently energized the toy, and the little thing flew in the air.
The little brothers were overjoyed, but they didn't think it had gone far enough, so they made several larger ones in the shape of a toy.
Some of these imitations were able to fly over trees, others flew tens of meters away, but one of the brothers' very large replica failed. But this did not upset them, but instead aroused the brothers' idea of building an airplane.

The Wright brothers waited at home for their father a few days after his business trip, and at one point his father finally returned, when his father brought them a toy airplane. Then they twisted the clockwork, and the airplane toys flew freely through the air. That's when the two brothers thought:
It would be nice if we could make the plane bigger and have someone sit on it. So, the two of them hope that they can make a homemade airplane; The Wright brothers, both racking their brains to figure out how to make this stool for a human plane. Sometimes the Wright brothers might even stay up late to build airplanes.
Through the efforts of the Wright brothers, they finally built the following aircraft of their own. They wanted to make the plane bigger enough to fit a person. They redoubled their efforts day and night, and finally built the only aircraft that could be used as a person.
This plane can still be seen in the Capital Space Museum, where they built the first powered plane.

The Wright brothers have been working on airplanes since 1896. While opening a bicycle shop to make money, they also had to accumulate aviation knowledge, observe eagle flights, repeatedly design drawings, and after more than three days and nights of preparation, in October 1900, the Wright brothers made a glider powered by the wind.
After that, the Wright brothers began to think about an airplane powered by an engine. After more than three years of repeated experiments, absorbing the experience of himself and others, summing up lessons, and constantly improving, he finally successfully flew an airplane with an engine on December 17, 1903.
The history of the Wright brothers' aircraft.
In 1908, the Wright brothers won many honors in Paris, London and Washington, and the American ** Taft praised "these two outstanding American brothers for their dedication to the cause of aircraft construction".
In March 1909, the U.S. War Department officially placed an order with the Wright brothers. The Wright brothers added special seats for lookouts and machine gunners to the aircraft, laying the foundation for the aircraft's military application.
The Wright brothers are the most famous inventors of the century, and they were both born in the United States. The news of Otto Rindahl's successful test glider made them determined to fly. Lindahl's test flight crash in the year prompted them to focus on the balance of the aircraft. >>>More
