3. Don't put water in a bowl for hamsters to drink.

Some people like to put water in a bowl for hamsters to drink, which is not right. It is easy for hamsters to fall into the bowl when they lie on the side of the bowl and drink water, and if they are not dried in time, the hamster will catch a cold! Have diarrhea!

Got wet tail syndrome! No matter how serious it is, you will die. It only costs three dollars to buy a drinking fountain, and it can be used for a long, long time.

Just make a small dish with some water and put it in its nest.

Feeding water to baby hamsters can be done with water bottles, water basins, fruits and vegetables, etc.

1. Water bottle. Use a water bottle for small animals, fix the water bottle in the cage, and make sure that the baby hamsters can shoot silver and drink freely. The water bottle should be cleaned and replaced regularly to ensure that the water is clean and hygienic.

2. A water basin. It is also possible to use a water basin for small animals, which is placed inside the cage to ensure that the baby hamsters can drink freely. However, when using a basin, you need to pay attention to the cleanliness and hygiene of the water, so as to avoid the little hamsters bringing garbage or bed sand to the water.

3. Fruits and vegetables.

Baby hamsters can get water by eating fruits and vegetables with a high amount of water, such as watermelon, apples, cucumbers, carrots, etc. However, it is necessary to control the amount of food consumed and avoid excessive intake.

What kind of environment do hamsters need?

The most suitable temperature is 20-28, avoid direct sunlight or direct wind blowing places, but pay attention to ventilation. Do not get too close to TV, stereo, computer, hamsters can hear sounds that humans cannot hear, radiation and noise should be avoided.

In summer, it is best not to turn on the air conditioner, because the air conditioner will be turned on and off will make the temperature difference too large, and hamsters are very sensitive to temperature. In winter, hamsters placed outdoors will pseudo-hibernate because it is too cold. Lay more wood chips and other bedding, and configure wooden or grass huts for hamsters to keep warm.

Or give more cotton for hamsters to make their own nests, absorbent cotton is fine, preferably natural cotton.
