3. Fire.

There is also a more common way to distinguish the authenticity of wool coats, that is, fire, you can take a small sample of the fabric of the coat or cut part of the inside of the coat with fire, if in the process of burning can be clearly found that there is a smell of burnt feathers, and the burned fabric has become gray black, with a light twist of the hand to become a delicate powder, then it is certain that this is real wool.

On the contrary, if there is a hard lump after burning, and the silk will be pulled out by hand, then it is very likely that you will buy a fake wool coat made of chemical fiber fabric.
