What are the types of construction land and what types of land are included in construction land

Construction land refers to the land on which buildings and structures are constructed, that is, the land used for the construction of various objects. The types of construction land include:

1) Land for urban and rural residential and public facilities;

2) Industrial and mining land, i.e. industrial land and mining land;

3) Land for transportation and water conservancy facilities;

4) Tourist land, that is, the land for facilities specially used for tourism visits;

Residential land in the traditional sense has two meanings:

Three types of industrial land: industrial land that has serious interference and pollution to the environment such as residential and public facilities, such as mining industry, metallurgical industry, large and medium-sized machinery manufacturing industry, chemical industry, paper industry, tanning industry, building materials industry, etc.

Legal basis: Article 4 of Chapter 1 of the Land Management Law of the People's Republic of China: The State prepares an overall land use plan, stipulates land use, and divides land into agricultural land, construction land and unused land.

Strictly restrict the conversion of agricultural land into construction land, control the total amount of land used for construction, and implement special protection for cultivated land. Article 344: Holders of the right to use land for construction purposes enjoy the right to occupy, use, and benefit from state-owned land in accordance with law, and have the right to use the land to construct buildings, structures, and ancillary facilities.

Article 345: The right to use land for construction purposes may be established on the surface, above ground or underground.

Article 346: The establishment of the right to use land for construction shall comply with the requirements of conserving resources and protecting the ecological environment, comply with the provisions of laws and administrative regulations on land use, and shall not harm the usufruct rights that have already been established.
