The characteristics of the eight major sects can be summarized in one aspect: dense wealth, Zen and poverty, convenient and pure, only knowledge, patience, and Jiaxiangkong.

There have been many schools of Buddhism in China, and there are eight main sects. These are the so-called Eight Great Sects, Phases, Stages, Sages, Zen, Purity, Vinaya, and Esoteric Schools.
The Three Treatises sect is a sect formed mainly based on the study and transmission of the Madhyamaka Treatise, the Hundred Treatises, and the Twelve Treatises translated by Kumarosh, and is called the Three Treatises because it is based on the three Treatises of the Madhyamaka School. Its teachings are based on the two truths of truth and mundaneness, and the ultimate is the realization of the reality of the Middle Way. The word "truth" in the two truths means the truth, and it is called the true truth when spoken from the side of the dharma nature and body, and the worldly truth is said from the side of dependent phenomena.
From the common truth that things exist, the true truth says that all the dharmas are empty, so the two truths of truth and mundane are also called emptiness and two truths. Color is emptiness, emptiness is color, color and emptiness are not two, and truth and vulgarity are the middle way, also called the reality of the law, and this is the central idea of this sect. This sect focuses on exposing the non-self-nature of all the worldly and worldly dyeing of the causes of the Dharma from the aspect of the vacuum body, and completely destroying the confusion, so as to establish a non-attainable view of the Middle Way in order to achieve its purpose of unhindered liberation.
This sect is actually the direct successor of the Indian Nagarjuna and Deva Madhyamaka doctrines. <>

Tantra is mainly the Chinese Tang Dynasty Bukong translation of the "Vajra Top Yoga True Great Teachings King Sutra", in the eighth century by the good fearless, Vajra wisdom, Bukong and so on introduced to China, since then the practice and teaching of Tantra to form Tantra. This sect establishes the Three Tantric Yoga according to the "Great Nikjing" and "Vajra Sutra", contemplating and practicing the Buddha-figure Dharma. This sect is based on the mysteries of tantra, and it cannot be arbitrarily taught and displayed to others without initiation or teaching, so it is called tantra.
The Buddha-figure Virujana Buddha is a Buddha, a Bodhisattva or a Ming King that scholars choose as the object or example of their learning achievements, which is called the Buddha-figure. To attain all the merits and wisdom of the Buddha-figure, one must practice the Three Tantric Yoga Methods. The three secrets are the three karma of body, mouth, and mind, and yoga is translated as corresponding.
The three tantric yoga is the correspondence of the three karmas. Corresponding to whom? That is, the practitioner's own body, mouth, and mind correspond to the three karma of the Buddha-figure's body, mouth, and mind.
When practicing the Dharma, the practitioner should take the posture of a Buddha-figure, seal the deed in his hand, and recite the mantra of the Buddha-figure, which means to visualize the Buddha-figure or the word seed, so that his or her three karma correspond to the three secrets of the Buddha-figure, which is called yoga practice. If this method is cultivated, it can be achieved as a Buddha-figure on the spot. There are many practices in Esoteric Buddhism, and this is just one example.
The supreme theory of this sect is still based on the Dharma body of emptiness, and the so-called "Ah Zi is not born", and non-birth is emptiness. Tiantai sect is based on Kumaroshi's translation of the "Lotus Sutra", "Great Wisdom Theory", "Zhong Lun", etc., absorbing the ideas of various schools from India and the development of China, and reorganizing them systematically to form an ideological system. Its doctrine is based on the five times and eight teachings as the general outline, with one mind, three views, and the harmony of the three truths as the central idea, and this sect divides the scriptures and teachings mentioned by Shakyamuni into five different periods, which are called the five seasons teachings<>
