First aid for drowning children:
1.Remove blockages from the nose and mouth: After the child is rescued from shore, put the child head down and pry his teeth open.
Clean up the debris in his mouth and nose with your hands, and then quickly hit the back of your shoulders with the palm of your hand to keep the airway open as much as possible, and make sure that the child's tongue does not block the airway backwards.
2.Pour out the fluid in the respiratory tract: The rescuer should kneel on one leg with the other leg bent and place the drowning child prone on the bent thigh. Leave his head and feet drooping, then shake his thighs or press on his back to pour water out of his respiratory tract.
3.Rescue respiration after water spitting: If your child's breathing and heartbeat are weak, mouth-to-mouth (nose) rescue breaths should be performed immediately. At the same time, you can do chest heart compressions, don't just worry about the lack of pouring water to delay the rescue of breathing and heartbeat.
Precautions for first aid for child drowning:
Be sure to pay attention to the time, especially in the first few minutes of first aid, and make good use of it. Weak breathing requires immediate artificial respiration or oxygen.
-
Turn your child upside down, use your knees against the empty water in the lower part of the stomach, or put your child upside down on his back a few times, and if there is no water, do CPR as soon as possible.
-
When the child is drowning, the child should be rescued from the water as soon as possible, the rescuer kneels down on one leg, and then quickly puts the child's head down, puts it on the rescuer's thigh, and pries the child's teeth, removes the sludge or dirt and vomit in the child's mouth and nose, and then pats the child's back, which can make the child's airway unobstructed. If the child's carotid artery, brachial artery or dorsalis pedis artery pulse cannot be felt with your hands, and the child is not breathing, the child should be resuscitated immediately. Once your child's breathing and heartbeat are restored, they should be taken to the hospital for further procedures**.

First aid for drowning children is mainly to clear the airways and if the heart stops, CPR is required.
When a child is drowning, parents should not panic, if they can swim, they should be rescued immediately, if they can't swim, please shout loudly.
After a child is drowning, when the child is rescued, the first thing to do is to clean up the weeds and other substances in their respiratory tract and nostrils, and if the child is still conscious, what to do now is to let the child spit out the water. You can let your child bend over slightly and pat his back, but the force should not be too strong at this time.
If the child has a heartbeat and is not breathing when he is rescued, then the child should be given artificial respiration immediately, about 30 times per minute, until the child is breathing.
After the child is rescued, if there is no heartbeat and no breathing. Rescue respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation are required immediately. and call 120 Ambulance**. It is also necessary to check whether the child is breathing smoothly and whether there is a foreign body blocking the airway.
Drowning children need to be carried out in order of 5 aspects: judging whether the patient is unconscious; activation of the emergency medicine system; chest compressions; open the airway; Life-saving breathing. The emphasis on "fast" in these rescue measures is "fast".

In order to strictly prevent drowning incidents, the school improves students' self-rescue and self-protection ability in emergency situations in the water, masters appropriate life-saving methods, and resolutely allows students to achieve the "six prohibitions", namely:
1. It is not allowed to swim in the water without permission;
2. It is not allowed to swim with others without authorization;
3. It is not allowed to swim without the guidance of parents or teachers;
4. It is not allowed to swim in unfamiliar waters;
5. It is not allowed to swim in waters without safety facilities and rescue personnel;
6. Students who do not know how to swim are not allowed to go into the water without authorization.
1. The concept of drowning: the process of primary respiratory injury caused by submersion.
2. The drowning process can be roughly divided into: (1) breath-holding period, (2) laryngospasm period, (3) water into the respiratory tract period, and (4) cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest can also occur during laryngospasm or when water enters the airways.
3. Drowning rescue: first ensure the safety of the rescuer, and try to use ropes and rescue facilities for shore rescue; Group rescue is better than individual combat. Being able to swim does not mean that you can rescue in the water, and rescue in the water requires special training.
4. The state and first aid measures of the drowning person after being rescued ashore:
1) Ethnic Qiaochang, awake, breathing and pulse: call 120, accompany, keep warm, wait for rescuers or send to the hospital for observation.
2) Coma (no response to call), breathing and pulse: call 120, clean up the mouth and nose foreign body, stabilize the lateral decubitus position, and wait for rescuers. Closely monitor the respiratory pulse and resuscitate if necessary.
3) Coma, no breathing and pulse: similar to the state of "suspended animation", the patient has laryngospasm, no breathing, and the pulse is weak and on the verge of stopping. Once you regain breathing, you can lie on your side and wait for rescuers.
4) Wide, unconscious, no breathing and no pulse: immediately clean up the mouth and nose foreign body, open the airway, artificial respiration, chest compressions for first aid. Remember to call 120 at the same time and continue resuscitation until the patient's breathing pulse is restored or emergency personnel arrive.
The first responder should swim behind the drowning person and use their left hand to hold the opponent's right hand between their left arm and upper body, or drag the drowning person's head and drag them to shore in a backstroke. First aid personnel prevent drowning from holding on, affecting first aid. In case of being caught, the first responder should let go and sink, first separate from the drowning person, and then save him. >>>More

If you are not familiar with the nature of water, you must not panic, try to keep your mind clear, and take self-rescue measures by tilting your head as much as possible and turning your mouth upwards so that your mouth and nose are exposed to the water, and then you can breathe. Exhale shallowly, inhale deeply, and never lift your hands or struggle, as this will sink your body and immediately call for help to those on the shore. >>>More
