Who is Shen Shixi

Shen Shixi, whose real name is Shen Yiming, was born in Tingzijian, Shanghai in October 1952, his ancestral home is Cixi, Zhejiang, and he is a contemporary Chinese animal writer. He is currently a member of the Children's Literature Committee of the Chinese Writers Association and a director of the Shanghai Writers Association.

In 1969, he went to the Dai village in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province to settle down. In 1980, he began to engage in amateur literary creation, and published his first animal ** "When the Elephant Herd Migrates" in "Children's Literature". In October 1982, he joined the Yunnan Writers Association.
