Li Xiaoyu is a contemporary female poet. Born on October 26, 1951. A native of Fengrun County, Hebei Province.
Since childhood, he has lived in the army with his parents. Under the influence of his family, he was introduced to poetry at the age of four. Studied in primary and secondary schools in Beijing.
In 1969, he went to the countryside of Hebei Province to settle down, joined the army two years later, worked as a hygienist in the grassroots unit of the railway army, and published the first group of poems "Collecting Medicine". Since 1976, he has been working in the Department of Poetry and Magazine, and in 1983, he joined the Chinese Writers Association. He has published poems in newspapers and periodicals such as "Poetry Magazine", "People's Literature", "People's **", "Shanghai Literature" and so on.
He studied at the Literature Workshop of the Chinese Writers Association. His main works include: the lyrical poetry collection "Song of the Wild Goose" (1979, Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House) and "Red Scarf" (1983).
Her poems have been selected into the "Selected Works of 100 Female Writers", "Selected Poems of Youth", "Their Lyric Poems", and "Contemporary Poetry".
