The Boy Who Rides the Wind is an autobiographical book based on real people and real stories**. Forced to drop out of school, William relied entirely on his own experiments, using scrap metal recovered from the scrapyard to develop a windmill capable of generating electricity. The book chronicles his growth, his tribulations, and his eventual success.
Although his life has been bumpy, William Campumba has always told us his story with a smile and told us that he has a lot to cherish.
When I closed my eyes to the whole book, I could see the simple and dreamy smiling face of this black boy, as if I could see a windmill built from scrap in Africa, an arid land on the brink of famine and death. The windmill generates electricity, and the little light bulb connected to it shines. And it was built by the book's protagonist, a teenager named William Campumba.
After reading this book, I was not moved by William Camphuba's invention of the windmill and the far-reaching significance it had for the world and mankind. Rather, he dropped out of school, starved down, had no teachers, no money, and could hardly see the future in a land of abject poverty, but he was able to realize his dream wholeheartedly.
His positive attitude is like a ray of sunshine shining on me. Compared to him, we were all so lucky. There are abundant material resources, rich educational resources, and there is no heavy work waiting for us to complete at home, the only thing that needs to be done is to study, study.
So, why shouldn't we do this one thing well? Looking back on the six years of primary school that I am almost finishing, do you owe too many tasks? Although there will be difficulties in learning, this small difficulty is very small compared to Kankwanba.
Moreover, learning is just a matter for ourselves, what reason do I have, not to treat it with a proper attitude, not to mention in order to repay the teacher and the parents, let's cheer for ourselves!

Maybe we are living a prosperous life now, and we can't understand the hardships of life in a poor country, but the cruel truth is that.
Africa, although separated from Europe by the sea, has a far cry from its economic conditions. And it was in such a barren land that a genius was born. Malawi, a small country in Africa where witchcraft is rampant, is plagued by drought, famine, plague and AIDS, so the region is extremely poor, and only two percent of the population has access to electricity.
After dropping out of school, the teenager Kankwamba began to study on his own because he knew about the village library. Under the various factors such as local poverty and poor livelihood, the dream of building a windmill that can generate electricity has arisen and people can use electricity for civilian use. Relying on a copy of "**Physics", he was self-taught, and after countless experiments and thoughts, he reached a level close to madness, and finally, a dream-like windmill stood in the village.
The young Kankwamba was only able to succeed because he had a heart of perseverance and a little inspiration from God. Inspiration is like genius, not everyone will have and will find it, but there is perseverance'Heart you can have. Inspiration and soul need to be seated together, if you fail in one area, don't be discouraged, just as every lock can only be opened with a specific key, you will always find your long-lost inspiration in one area.
Kankwaba was not born lucky, and there were many bumps in his path to invention. For example, his family had no money to invent for him, and he had to go to the scrapyard to collect broken copper and iron to complete the windmill he had been thinking about day and night; In order to make inventions, his family put all the broken bicycles in and waited, and only succeeded after many obstacles.
If you want to succeed, you have to give up something, and just like the knowledge that you have lost in the years when you dropped out of school, you have to give up some real things and work tirelessly to reach the top of life.
Success requires a go, so let's do it now!
