Before learning the scriptures, Sun Wukong's banquet Jian You was the "Monkey King", he was unruly and fearless, begging weapons to make trouble in the Dragon Palace and take away the Ruyi golden hoop stick, and burn the book of life and death for the immortal life; He pursues freedom, is not bound by worldly etiquette, eats the peach elixir if he wants, hates the constraints of heaven and the mockery of him, so he abandons heaven and returns to Huaguo Mountain, claiming that Monkey King dares to be the enemy of heaven.

After learning the scriptures, he became a "fighting to defeat the Buddha", Sun Wukong's "wildness" was domesticated step by step on the way to learn the scriptures, without the previous arrogance, he became mature and steady, knew how to respect the teacher, and learned to take responsibility, think carefully, and not kill indiscriminately.
