The emphasis on melody and lyrics, as well as the absorption of the roots of ** nutrition, have created the lead singer and songwriter Ou Bo's open concept and ability, and he has cooperated with different band members at different times, from the early roots to art rock, to the hotly talked about post-rock, to various ** tastes belonging to sound and toys that gradually become unclassifiable.

Looking back at history, among the bands formed at the same time, Sound & Toys has been holding on for nine years, and the perfectionist attitude has led the band to only release a demo in 2003, "The Most Wonderful Trip". There is no doubt that this is just one of the many ** preferences of the creator Obo, but perhaps this indicates that the future band has begun to find a path between art and pop, and we may believe that this is the recent future of Chinese rock music.

This is a band established by the Yi wandering poets, the third-rate doctors of Shandong, the nocturnal knights of the Northeast, the primitive moderns of the Southwest, and the long-haired Xiaobei of Zibo, they come from different places and have different experiences, and their ** from calm to manic, from loneliness to happiness, from narcissistic self-injury to indulgent singing, listeners often release their most secret emotions and enter a state of catharsis!

The band was formed in 2002 and its original members were Ma Yulong, Li Wei, Yin Yong and Wang Gan. In 2004, after recording the second record, the band members underwent some changes, and after adjustment, they made an official comeback in August 2005 on the first release of the new **, and the new batch of band members are lead singer Ma Yulong, guitar Li Wei, keyboard Liu Guangrui (joined in 2003), drummer Qin Shaojian (joined in 2005), and bass Song Wei (joined in 2005). After the run-in, the sound fragment band is more technically perfect, and the overall style of the band is becoming more and more mature.

But I'm not a senior, but I've been in touch since I was in high school, and there are many, big and small bands in Chengdu, and there are countless warm-up bands. I only listen to what I like, and the sound toys must stay because they are excellent.

So I can't be objective and comprehensive, and I'm not very suitable to write about underground Chengdu. In fact, the subject is asking questions here, and I don't even think Zhihu can give the subject an answer.

It can only be said that Ou Bo Ou Jiayuan is a very talented person. The members of the band have changed a lot since their inception, but he has been persevering. However, at present, the guitar drummer bass and him have been partnered for a long time, and I feel that they have run in well, which I am particularly touched, and I also like it more and more.

Pink Floyd is definitely their favorite.

Sound toys are an elegant band, like a sad poet singing beautiful love songs, we appreciate their rigor in **, both attitude and elegance, they must also love hot pot, people who love hot pot, in order to write the most cold and serious black silk rock.

More than ten years ago, when I was just starting to learn guitar, a classmate who played guitar recommended a song called "Secret Love" to me, telling me that it was the best band in Sichuan and one of the best bands in China. Since then, I have also known the names of sound toys, and then I have found their songs to listen to over and over again, "Eileen", "Sunday Street", "Perfect Day" ......Every one of them is familiar, and I can't give more comments at that time, just two words: good! ‍‍

In my opinion, Sound Toys is almost one of the slowest bands in China, but every time they have a new song, it makes people hum for a long time. When we first performed in Chengdu, the tuner also happened to be the band's lead singer Ou Jiayuan, and we were also impressed by his rigorous and serious style. Ou Bo: A native of Neijiang, Sichuan, he studied oil painting in his early years and worked as an art teacher at Neijiang Normal College for many years. In 99, he went to Chengdu to form a sound and toy band to carry out ** creative activities.

He Sinuo: A native of Chengdu, Sichuan, he is the youngest member of the band, studying piano since childhood and film in college. Obsessed with Akira Kurosawa, he joined the band Sound Toys in February '09, was the band's keyboard, and also became the band's VJ, and experimental short film producer.

Hu Kai: A native of Xichang, Sichuan, he studied at the School of Visual Arts of Sichuan Normal University, and is a young bass player.
