In Jinan, in summer, it is known as the "stove", and it is difficult to sweat the unconscious lower body, and the small electric fan blows out hot air. In order to cool down, every once in a while, she soaked her hair in tap water and sat down in front of an electric fan to blow it violently; In winter, the room is as cold as an ice cellar.

Generally, even if she wears thick cotton clothes, she has to freeze and catch a cold several times a year, and she will have a fever for several days when she catches a cold, and it may even be life-threatening. In this regard, Zhang Haidi never regrets it, but believes that cold can make people more sober and increase more life insights. In 1990, "Dreams in a Wheelchair" was published and distributed nationwide.

Immediately afterwards, Zhang Haidi carried out the literary creation of his second book "The Pursuit of Life". In order to satisfy the reader's desire to buy books, the book was printed ten times in a row.
