Where is the storage path of the UG, and how to set the storage path of the UG

The storage path of ug is the default location, and when you draw a part with ug, you need to save it, either save it to the default location of ug, or change the save location, and the next time you open it, it will still be the default directory of ug, and you can change the directory at one time and never need to change it again.

The following describes how to set the storage path:

1. We open ug and enter the work interface, the dialog box shown in the following figure will pop up, the arrow points to the default file storage directory of ug, and then we click OK to officially enter the work interface.

2. First of all, we find the file in the upper left corner of the menu bar and click the pop-up drop-down menu, and then find the utility command in the menu, as shown by the arrow in the figure below.

3. Left-click the utility options triangle to pop up the secondary menu, select the "User Default Settings" command and click, and the dialog box shown in the following figure will pop up.

<>4. Click on the basic environment in the upper left corner, and the options in the window on the right will change, as shown in the figure below.

5. We click on the directory, switch to the directory option, and then find the option circled by the red box in the figure below, which is the path we want to change, and then we click Browse to switch to the UG folder under the E disk.

Then click OK.

<>6. As shown in the figure below, we have modified the default directory where the UG file is saved, and then click OK to close the dialog box, and then it prompts that the change will only take effect after the UG is restarted. So far, we've changed the default file storage directory for ug.

The default is in the installation directory ugii, which you can change in the file --- utilities --- user default settings--- basic environment --- general --- directory.

The default save address is in the ugii folder of your installation directory.

<> modify the default save path of ug steps as quietly old:

1. Open UG, click "File" in the upper left corner, and click "User Default Settings" under "Practical Tools" in the pop-up menu;

2. The "User Default Settings" dialog box pops up;

3. Click on the "General" hail option under "Basic Environment" in the left menu bar, and select the "Catalog" tab;

4. Click "Part File Directory", select "Browse", select the save path you want to change, and click "OK";

5. A message box will pop up prompting changes after restarting;

6. Click "Restart" to complete the modification.
