Osamu Dazai's "Human Disqualification" was held up to a high status, and I took a break to read the book. I was surprised to find that it was only more than 255 pages, which was not a long story, but it made me read it more calmly.

Ah Ye's sorrow is the spiritual emptiness brought about by the family's wealth and profligacy of pleasures. And most of us, ordinary beings, are anxious about life, and have little leisure time to think about the definition of our true life.

For the first half of Ah Ye, I don't have much sympathy. I only feel that it is the comfort of life that has created him to not understand the suffering of the world, and he is troubled and does not know what to do. The further back we look, the more we come to understand that there is no way to judge the suffering of others based on our own experiences.

Whether it is for life, for the body, or for being out of step with the world, it is all suffering, and no kind of suffering is more noble, and for the person concerned, each of them can give birth to the idea of giving up life.

After reading the whole book, I felt that Ah Ye was at least sixty or seventy years old, and then he had only lived twenty-seven years. mentally incompatible with the real world, he was a young man, paralyzed himself with cigarettes, alcohol, and women, and he couldn't tell whether it was true or false.

I can't help but feel sad for this kind of life, they are really supposed to be the masters of freedom, but they are shackled by the filthy and cold reality, and they are turned into stinking stones in the gutter, and they see themselves dirty. This kind of pain is more terrible than death. I also thought that now is almost an era of awakening in the spiritual world, and countless people are repeating this pain.

I feel that I have read the works of Osamu Dazai and experienced the hope of his writing, and my evaluation of this hope is that those who see this hope should be the ones who are dying. Most people say he's cowardly, but he's actually brave.

These works are full of hope, but he died in despair, as he said in "The Clown Flower", he wanted to write about happiness, he didn't want to bring sadness to others, and he had to bear the sadness alone. The other side of despair is full of hope, why a hopeful person wants to commit suicide is precisely because of the existence of people. The ultimate in pessimism is to see hope in absolute envy, which is actually extreme optimism, after all, you see hope in despair.

Isn't this contradictory to rejecting optimism? That's right, it's a contradiction, this is a part of people, so there is "Human Disqualification", Xiao Ye in the text is hypocritical on the surface, and those monologues all reflect his artificiality, but he confronts all of this and says his hypocrisy, which is sincere, Xiao Ye explains the darkness of people with his own contradictions and the hypocrisy of the people around him who can't face himself, and his disgust with people.
