This point is not covered much in the story, or is it because no one can succeed in the tribulation, naturally there will be nothing that happens after the success of the tribulation?

The word "catastrophe" first appeared in Taoism, but in fact, there is no such thing as heaven in Buddhism, but there is a theory of karma. Speaking of the Taoist tribulation, it means that becoming an immortal is a thing that goes against the sky, since it is against the sky, God will naturally punish the person who goes against the sky, so this calamity is the thunder of the sky.

If you can survive the thunderstorm, it is Xiaocheng. There are many legends about the raid of livestock, but there is no legend about people. If you want to cross the catastrophe of livestock, you must first find a rich and noble person on the side, because they think that the rich and noble people in this life are people who have experienced great creation and have a background, and the livestock and these people are closer, and the thunder will not easily hit them, so it is generally good to cross the catastrophe.

According to Chinese legend, through the practice of force or Taoism, it is possible to achieve the possibility of transcending the limits of life, and immortality is also the goal that people have always pursued. Tribulation is a kind of restriction and punishment from heaven on the living body, and if you can't stand it, you can cultivate into a transcendent body, and if you can't stand it, you will turn into dust.

In the early days, there was no saying that the tribulation became an immortal, and after people continued to practice, they would find that becoming an immortal was the top priority, so they began to have the theory of becoming an immortal. In order to be able to become an immortal and disobey the orders of the heavenly realm, the calamity is also from the mouth of a cultivator, and others will not easily come into contact with this aspect of things.

Since ancient times, there have been many cultivators, so there are many people who want to obtain immortality through the tribulation, but this situation only appears in preaching and mythological stories, and there is no tribulation in real life, so naturally there is no such thing as a successful tribulation. Sooner or later, the sufferings of life must be faced, so why pursue temporary freshness!

The Chinese Taoist cultivation of the fifth rank of immortals divides immortals into five grades, namely ghost immortals, human immortals, earth immortals, gods and heavenly immortals. The so-called ghost immortal refers to only refining the mind, or has not yet obtained the true formula, and cannot cultivate into a pure yang body, so only the yin god is produced, and the name is the spirit ghost. Although the name is an immortal, it is actually a ghost, but it can be psychic, which is different from ordinary ghosts.

Ghosts and immortals can exist for about 500 years, and they must be reincarnated after 500 years to exist. The so-called human immortals, although they are no different from people in appearance, can avoid the pain of old age, sickness and death, and can live forever. The so-called earth immortals refer to the cultivation level above the human immortals, which can reach the level of cold and heat invasiveness, hunger and harmlessness, although they have not yet achieved the yang god, but they have been able to avoid the burden of food, clothing, housing and transportation, and can control life and death by themselves.

The so-called immortal means that the yang god has been cultivated, has changed his supernatural powers, and can be promoted freely, and has become a major event of life and death. Abandon the shell, drift independent, gather to form, scattered to Qi. The so-called heavenly immortals, from the taste of the immortals, and then seek the next level of effort, beyond the environment where human beings are located, there is no heaven outside the sky.

And it can be done "Heaven and earth are bad, but this is not bad." Being able to coexist with the universe is the highest state of Chinese Taoist cultivation. Qiu Zhaoqiu's "Notes on the Ten Families of Enlightenment" quoted Weng Yuanming's commentary, and the discussion of the fifth-class immortals is the most concise:

There are several immortals: the yin god is the spiritual and the formless, and the ghost is also immortal; Those who live long without illness are immortals; Flying through the air and fog, not hungry or thirsty, cold and heat not invading, traveling on the island, immortal and immortal; The change is qualitative, looming and unpredictable, or less, the most holy and the most godly, the ghosts and gods can not know, the yarrow turtle can not be measured, and the heavenly immortals are also. "The above five levels must be verified by true cultivation and empirical evidence, and cannot be proposed by ordinary circumstances.
