The end of the Dharma: The teachings of the world, although people have the teachings, but few can practice the fruit, it is called the end of the Dharma.

The three bhikshus say that they can't bear it, and the white-clothed bhikshu thinks it's supreme, and the world is chaotic. The four demon bhikshus are born in the present by themselves, and they think that the truth is true in the world, the canon of the Dharma is unknown, the deception is faith, and the world is chaotic. The five should come to the bhikshu to raise wives and slaves, but they will fight together and do not accept Buddhism.

In the era of the destruction of the law, the three treasures were extinguished, the meridians were extinguished, and the white law was hidden. After the end of the Dharma, all the teachings are extinguished, and then it is called the "Dharma Extinction Period."

The period of the end of the Dharma means that there will be fewer and fewer people who are truly cultivating, and in the period of the end of the Dharma, there will be very few people who are really willing to practice.

Buddhism is divided into three periods, namely: the Dharma Rectification Period, the Dharma Manifestation Period, and the Dharma Ending Period. After Shakyamuni Buddha was destroyed, 500 years was the period of rectification; The next 1,000 years are the period of imagery; The next 10,000 years will be the end of the Dharma period.

According to the records, we are now in the era of the end of the Dharma, and the evil masters of the end of the Dharma era are like the sand of the Ganges River, plus the sentient beings of the end of the Dharma have shallow good roots, thin blessings, heavy karma, and many retreats. Even if you can practice, it is not easy to achieve results. All the methods that the Buddha said can achieve life and death, attain Bodhi, and the Dharma is equal, and there is no superiority.

However, due to the different causes and conditions of the season, the root mechanism of sentient beings is different. Just like curing a disease, it is necessary to treat the symptoms in order to obtain the curative effect.

Signs of the end of the Dharma period:

At the end of the Dharma period, there will be no temples without merit boxes, no temples without incense money, and there will be fewer and fewer people who truly believe and practice, and more and more people will be greedy for fame and fortune and use Buddhism to make money.

The Lengyan Sutra says: The evil master says that the saying is like the sand of the Ganges. These are the chaos of the end of the Dharma period.

The only thing we can do is to cultivate ourselves well in this life, and don't pin our hopes on the future, because it will be more difficult to practice in the future, and the further we go, the more unfavorable it will be.

The Mahayana method of non-existence is immortal, and the shravaka sutra has an end method.

Why, the Mahayana scriptures are in the dust, and the world-honored ones break through the dust to do Buddha things, as long as the eyes of heaven are sufficient, and they know that the Dharma is still there, just like the old Lingshan for a while;

The sound and hearing method is born and destroyed, and it is transmitted in words, and the number of people who interpret the scriptures is gradually decreasing, and even the end of the law.

Breaking the mind and seeing evil things blinds the mind, sentient beings have no faith in the Fa-rectification, they only know that they are greedy, hateful, and naïve, their souls are extremely hungry, they don't believe in karma, and it is common to create the ten negative karmas.

If you want to survive the law, you must first correct your own heart before you can correct people.

Counting from the time of Shakyamuni Buddha 2,600 years ago, the Dharma has been 500 years; 1000 years of imagery; After 10,000 years of the end of the law, it entered the era of "the law is extinguished". After the Song Dynasty in China, it entered the "era of the end of the law".

The Buddha once predicted that the life of the Dharma would be rescheduled to about 12,000 years, and it was divided into three stages: 1,000 years of the Dharma; 1000 years of imagery; After 10,000 years of the end of the Dharma, after which the era of "Dharma is extinguished", there is no Dharma in the world, except for the four words "Amitabha Buddha", until 5.67 billion years Amitabha Buddha came to the world, and the Dharma re-emerged.

And in each of these eras, the degree of belief in Buddhism is different

1. 1,000 years of the "Fa-rectification Era". All sentient beings have deep good roots and merits, and their utilitarian thinking is weak, and they are easy to have faith and understanding of all good laws. There are many people who have attained enlightenment.

2. 1000 years of the "era of image law". Buddhism has begun to diverge and change, and people have begun to be enthusiastic about such formal things as making offerings, building temples, and releasing life.

3. 10,000 years of the "end of the law era". Buddhism has been declining, and people who study Buddhism cannot distinguish between the righteous and evil Dharma, and the biggest characteristic is that "the evil teacher is like the sand of the Ganges", and there are endless people who come out under the banner of Buddhism to talk nonsense about the Dharma.
