Symptom. When you change the IPX frame type for your network connection from Auto-Detect to any other IPX frame type, you may see a "Stop 0x0000001d" or "Stop 0x000000a" stop error occur.

Cause. This issue can occur if you have the NWLINK IPX SPX NetBIOS compatible transport protocol installed on your computer and you are using the Driver Verifier Manager to troubleshoot errors with the driver's dedicated pool feature.

Resolution. You re-installed version 2000 on another machine, and copying it over and overwriting yours should solve the problem.
