China's major measures for environmental protection:

1. Promote technological transformation with energy conservation and consumption reduction as the main goal. We should do a good job in the technological transformation of high-energy-consuming industries and enterprises, such as iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, electric power, and building materials, and forcibly eliminate backward technologies, processes, and products, so as to reduce the level of resource consumption in these industries.

Second, accelerate the development of circular economy.
