Aixin Jueluo Huang Taiji (i.e., Qing Taizong, also translated as Huang Taiji, Hong Taizhu, the eighth son of Qing Taizu Aixin Jueluo Nurhachi, an outstanding military strategist and politician in the early Qing Dynasty, the second Great Khan of the Later Jin Dynasty, and the founding emperor of the Qing Dynasty. Since he was a teenager, he often hunted and fought with his father and brother, and he was skilled in riding and shooting. After the death of Nurhachi in the 11th year of the Mandate of Heaven (1626), Huang Taiji was elected to inherit the throne of Khan, and the following year was changed to the first year of Tiancong.

Huang Taiji did not change the Jurchen to Manchuria, but corrected the mistake of calling the Jurchen, please don't use it as a false rumor.

In the old Manchurian files, Huang Taiji has a famous passage. This is what Huang Taiji said on the 13th day of October in the ninth year of Tiancong (November 22, 1635), on that day, Khan said: The original names of our country are Manchuria, Hada, Ula, Yehe, and Huifa, and its ignorant people call it Zhushen.

Fu Zhushen is the friendship of Xi Beichao Morgan, what does it have to do with us. Since then, all the people have called our country's original name Manchuria, and if they call it Zhushen, they will be guilty.

It is very clear that Manchuria is the original name of our ethnic group, and the title Jurchen is the name given to us by foreigners and people without knowledge.

Correcting the clan name and changing the clan name are two different concepts, and I hope that the majority of Manchu compatriots will know and inform each other.

After Nurhachi's death, his son, Huang Taiji, succeeded to the throne of the Later Jin Dynasty, and in order to improve social conflicts, he incorporated the Han and Mongols under the Later Jin rule into the Eight Banners system. At this point, the Jurchen people have long ceased to be a simple Jurchen race, and there are also people from other nationalities mixed with them. So Huang Taiji later decided to change the name of the Jurchen to the Manchus to represent that this was a completely new ethnic group.

It is because Huang Taiji wants to enter the Central Plains, the imperial power is threatened, and he took the opportunity to reshuffle the name of the clan, which improves the status of the Jurchen people in Jianzhou, and the Ming Dynasty is a fire life, and water can extinguish the fire, and the Manchus can destroy the Ming Dynasty as soon as possible.

Because the Jurchen people informed the world that most of the people would not agree and might rebel, they could only change their names in order to rule.

The reason for changing the "Jurchen" to Manchu is mainly to alleviate the people's resistance to the Qing Dynasty regime, because in history, the "Jin Dynasty" regime established by the Jurchen people had such heinous acts as slaughtering cities in foreign wars, especially in the war with the Song Dynasty, and the regime established by the Jurchen Nurhachi was "Houjin", whether it was the name of the nation or the regime, it would remind the people of the past history and arouse the resentment of the people, so Huang Taiji changed the name of the country to Qing and changed the name of the clan to Manchu. On the one hand, it is to alleviate the resistance of the people; On the other hand, it adapts to the regulations of the feudal dynasty, imitating the Ming system, and is no longer called the Great Khan, but the emperor.

Why did Huang Taiji change the name of the country to Qing, it is said that it was influenced by the Central Plains culture"Five Elements Theory", although Huang Taiji was born outside the Northeast Pass, but in order to defeat the Ming Dynasty, he learned the cultural knowledge of the Han nationality since childhood, and also studied the Five Elements Theory, and generally believed that the Five Elements include metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, and they restrain each other, that is, they are born in order, and they are born in order, and water is born of wood, and fire, and so on.

In ancient times, people believed that water could extinguish fires, fire could melt metal, metal products could cut down trees, tree roots could penetrate the soil, and soil could absorb water and make it disappear. Also think:

Water can moisten trees, wood can burn to produce fire, fire can turn burning things into earth, metal can be found in the soil, cold metal surface moistening can produce dew, and metal will become liquid when it melts. This gave rise to the concept of sequential birth and mutual restraint.

Nurhachi was defeated by Yuan Chonghuan, the word "Huan" belongs to fire, and later, Huang Taiji was repeatedly defeated by Yuan Chonghuan, and Huang Taiji thought of the truth of the five elements. The Qing Dynasty was originally gold, and the "Ming" of the Ming Dynasty belonged to fire, and fire overcame gold. Therefore, Huang Taiji changed the Jurchen nationality to "Manchu", the Jin State to the Qing Dynasty, and the word "Manchu Qing" belonged to three points of water, water overcame fire (Ming), and finally destroyed the Ming, unified the country, and rewrote history.
