How to backup files and restore system with GHOST

1. Use ghost to restore the system

According to the situation provided by the landlord, the landlord should have two options when he starts the machine, one is to enter the system; The other one is into the ghost. Press the down arrow and select Enter "ghost".

When the Chinese menu appears, select "English (original) ghost" and follow the steps below to recover:

1. On the ghost's main menu, select local, partition, and from

image2, select the F drive from the top of the pop-up window, find your backup file and double-click.

3. Then select the hard disk you want to restore and select 1.

4. Then select the disk partition you want to restore and select 1.

5. Click the yes button to confirm and start restoring the system.

6. Restart the computer when finished.

2. About H disk backup:

Redoing the system with ghost will not affect the contents of the H drive, so the landlord does not have to back up the H drive.

If you must back up, please follow the steps below:

1. In the ghost program menu, select local, partition, and to in order

image2, select 1 in the pop-up window

3. Select 6 in the pop-up window

4. In the pop-up window, select the storage path and file name of the backup file, you can choose any one except C disk and H disk, but there must be enough free space, and the file name is arbitrary.

5. Select No in the pop-up window

6. Then click Yes to confirm and start backing up H drive.

3. Note: The above operations are assuming that you have 1 hard disk, if you have 2 hard disks, the selected number will change.

Reinstalling the operating system doesn't involve files other than the C drive.,No backup required.。

No matter how you install the operating system, you are writing data to the C drive. If you are afraid that there is a virus in the H drive, don't you back up the virus as well? So there's no need to back it up.

Recover your system with ghost software:

1. Enter the PE system and open the ghost software, click "local", then select "partition", and finally select "from image".

2. Select the image file that needs to be recovered, and find the system image file you need (.)gho suffix file) and click Select.

3. Then select the source partition from the image file, since there is generally only one source partition, just click OK.

4. The next step is to choose which local disk to restore the selected image source partition to, if the general user only has one hard disk, then click OK to continue.

5. Select which partition to restore to, the general user installs the system C disk, that is, the partition with type as primary, if you are not sure, you can judge by the size (capacity), and click OK after selection.

6、ghost will start to perform the above operations,When the progress bar is finished, the ghost prompts that you need to restart,After the restart, it will continue to install the system automatically。
