On the 27th, the Russian army began to launch a fierce attack on Wanbaoshan. After seven days and nights of fierce fighting, the Russian army was defeated and Wanbaoshan was occupied.

Uzawa Daisa, commander of the 41st Wing of the Japanese Fourth Army, and 29 officers and 812 soldiers were killed in the battle.
