Based on the different requirements for people's ability and quality in different positions in public institutions, the written examination subjects of public institutions are divided into four categories: general management (Category A), social science and technology (Category B), natural science and technology (Category C), and primary and secondary school teachers (Category D). The written test subjects of comprehensive management, social science and natural science and technology are all "Comprehensive Application Ability" and "Vocational Aptitude Test", with a score of 150 points each.

The written test subject for primary and secondary school teachers is "Comprehensive Basic Theory and Professional Knowledge of Education", with a score of 300 points.

1) Comprehensive Management "Comprehensive Application Ability", which mainly tests the candidates' management role awareness, analysis and judgment ability, planning and control ability, communication and coordination ability and writing ability; The Vocational Aptitude Test for comprehensive management mainly tests the basic qualities and ability elements closely related to the management of candidates, including common sense judgment, verbal comprehension and expression, quantitative relationship, judgment reasoning and data analysis.

2) Comprehensive Application Ability of Social Science Specialized Skills, which mainly tests the reading comprehension ability, logical thinking ability, investigation and research ability, and written expression ability of the test takers; The Vocational Aptitude Test for Social Science Professionals mainly measures the basic qualities and ability elements closely related to the professional and technical positions in the humanities and social sciences of public institutions, including common sense judgment, verbal use, quantitative analysis, judgment and reasoning, and comprehensive analysis.

3) "Comprehensive Application Ability" of natural science and technology, which mainly tests the reading comprehension ability, logical thinking ability, data processing ability, and written expression ability of test takers; The Vocational Aptitude Test for Natural Science Expertise mainly measures the basic qualities and ability elements closely related to the natural science professional and technical positions in public institutions, including common sense judgment, verbal comprehension and expression, judgment and reasoning, and comprehensive analysis.
