    It's the formulater font that's wrong.

    Open the document and double-click on the mathematical formula that has the display problem, and the formulator will start automatically. Click "Style - Definition" in the interface of the formulator, and click "Advanced" in the "Define Style" dialog box that pops up

    At this time, you can see the font settings of the formulator, pay special attention to the settings of "variables" and "lowercase Greek letters" and "symbols", if this is a font that your system does not support, then the formulator cannot display the mathematical formula correctly, you can select the font you like and have been installed in your system in the corresponding drop-down list box, so that the formula can be displayed correctly after setting. It is recommended to use the font "times new roman" for variables, and the font for lowercase Greek letters and symbols is "symbol", which is generally installed by default on the Windows system.

    What you see in Word is garbled, but what you see after entering the formulator is the correctly displayed formula, and after exiting the formulator, it becomes garbled again. In fact, this is because the formulater automatically displays the formula in the font supported by your system, but it is not updated to the word document, then you only need to click "File - Update Document" in the formulator. Or press the shortcut key "Ctrl+S" to update the formula font to the document, and you can see that the formula has been displayed normally after exiting.

    If you can't solve it, ask me.

    Personally, I feel ......Your computer has less font ......You put the file on someone's computer to look at it, and if there is, copy it back to the font, and there is a font in the control panel.

    In "Tools" - "Options" - "View" - "Display", remove the checkmark in the ** box and try it.

    It may be that the font is not the same, you need to add the font in the font library, or it may be that the word file is corrupted.

    Math symbols cannot be displayed.

    The ** estimate cannot be displayed because the landlord's paragraph line spacing uses a fixed value, select the content, and click the menu "Format --- paragraph".

    Change to "Single-spaced".

    At this point you do not have the result of installing the word formulator correctly.

    The word formulator requires a special font: mt extra ttf. If you don't have this font installed, then some special symbols will be displayed with boxes (or error codes).

    Workaround: It can be solved by reinstalling the formulator or this font.

    The problem should be that you don't have the "formulator" installed, I don't know if your office is fully installed, if it is fully installed, try to do the following:

    1.Open Word, right-click in the blank space of the "Menu Bar", and select "Custom".

    2.In the pop-up "Customize" dialog box, select the "Commands" tab;

    3.In Category, select Insert;

    4.In Commands, select Formulator;

    5.Drag it into the Format Bar.

    If it is not fully installed, please put it into the office installation disk, install it, and then try to do the above operation.

    Hope it helps! Good luck

Important files are not in the C drive, it's okay (the files on the desktop are also in the C drive), you can use the PE system of the installation disk, and you can go in and test the files out.
